قرر النادي الأهلي المصري توقيع عقوبات مالية مضاعفة على لاعبي الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، عقب التعادل مع القناة بنتيجة 3-3، أمس (الأربعاء)، ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة من الدوري المصري الممتاز.
وقال الأهلي، في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي: «قرر الكابتن وائل جمعة، مدير الكرة، توقيع عقوبات مالية مضاعفة على اللاعبين بعد مباراة أمس».
جمعة يتوعد المقصرين
وأضاف البيان أن وائل جمعة عقد جلسة مطولة مع اللاعبين صباح اليوم، بحضور المدير الفني الحسين عموتة، لمناقشة تراجع المستوى الفني والبدني لعدد من اللاعبين، وظهورهم بأداء أقل من المتوقع لأسباب غير معروفة.
وشدد جمعة على أن «الفترة القادمة لا تحتمل تقصيراً من أي عنصر، ولابد أن يراجع كل فرد نفسه فيما يقدمه، وأن الأهلي لن يقف على أي لاعب».

ويحتل الأهلي المركز الثاني في جدول ترتيب الدوري المصري برصيد 17 نقطة، متأخراً بفارق أربع نقاط عن بيراميدز، متصدر الترتيب.
The Egyptian Al Ahly Club has decided to impose doubled financial penalties on the players of the first football team, following the draw with Al Qana at a score of 3-3 yesterday (Wednesday), as part of the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly stated in a statement on its official website: “Captain Wael Gomaa, the director of football, has decided to impose doubled financial penalties on the players after yesterday’s match.”
Gomaa Threatens Underperformers
The statement added that Wael Gomaa held an extended meeting with the players this morning, in the presence of the head coach, Al-Hussein Ammouta, to discuss the decline in the technical and physical levels of several players, and their performance being below expectations for unknown reasons.
Gomaa emphasized that “the upcoming period cannot tolerate any shortcomings from any individual, and everyone must review their own contributions, and Al Ahly will not rely on any single player.”

Al Ahly is currently in second place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 17 points, trailing by four points behind Pyramids, who are at the top of the table.
