قرر نادي ريال مدريد الإسباني إنهاء مقاطعته لحفل جائزة الكرة الذهبية، بعد عامين من الغياب.
وكان ريال مدريد قد قاطع نسخة 2024 في اللحظات الأخيرة، بعد تسريب خبر خسارة فينيسيوس جونيور أمام رودري، قبل أن يقاطع نسخة 2025 بشكلٍ كبيرٍ، إذ لم تشارك سوى المهاجمة كارولين وير.
وفد مدريدي في لندن
وبحسب ما نقلته شبكة «فوت ميركاتو» الفرنسية، فإنه بعد عامين من التوتر المحيط بجائزة الكرة الذهبية، سيحضر وفدٌ مدريديٌ الحفل المقرر إقامته (الاثنين) 26 أكتوبر في لندن، أي في اليوم التالي لمباراة الكلاسيكو أمام برشلونة.
وأضافت الشبكة أن من المتوقع حضور عددٍ من لاعبي ريال مدريد إلى العاصمة الإنجليزية، إذ يضم النادي أربعة مرشحين لجائزة الكرة الذهبية لعام 2026، هم كيليان مبابي، وجود بيلينجهام، وفينيسيوس جونيور، ومارك كوكوريلا.
منافسة على جوائز أخرى
كما ينافس لاعبون آخرون من النادي على جوائزَ مختلفةٍ، إذ ينافس تيبو كورتوا على جائزة أفضل حارس مرمى، ويان ديوماندي وفيليسيا شرودر على جائزة أفضل موهبةٍ شابةٍ.
The Spanish club Real Madrid has decided to end its boycott of the Ballon d’Or ceremony after two years of absence.
Real Madrid had boycotted the 2024 edition at the last minute, following the leak of news about Vinicius Junior losing to Rodri, before largely boycotting the 2025 edition, where only forward Caroline Weir participated.
A Madrid Delegation in London
According to what was reported by the French network “Foot Mercato,” after two years of tension surrounding the Ballon d’Or, a Madrid delegation will attend the ceremony scheduled to take place on (Monday) October 26 in London, the day after the Clasico match against Barcelona.
The network added that several Real Madrid players are expected to attend the English capital, as the club has four nominees for the Ballon d’Or 2026: Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Marc Cucurella.
Competition for Other Awards
Other players from the club are also competing for different awards, as Thibaut Courtois is in the running for Best Goalkeeper, while Jan Duran and Felicia Schroeder are competing for Best Young Talent.
