بحكم اهتمامي بالشأن الرياضي ومتابعتي لمختلف أحداثه ومستجداته على المستويين المحلي والدولي، قادني البحث إلى اكتشاف جانب آخر من ثراء بلدتي القديح، يتمثل في تنوع طاقاتها الثقافية والأدبية والفنية، وما تحتضنه من مواهب تستحق التعريف والاحتفاء.
للأمانة، لم أكن أتوقع وجود هذا العدد الكبير من الكتّاب والشعراء والأدباء والرسامين والنحّاتين والخطاطين والمصورين والمنتجين والموسيقيين والملحنين والعازفين والممثلين والمخرجين والمصممين وصنّاع المحتوى، إلى جانب المثقفين والإعلاميين من الجنسين. ومع البحث والتعمق، بدأت تتكشف أمامي أسماء وتجارب إبداعية تعكس اتساع المشهد الثقافي والفني في القديح.
والقديح حكاية تنوع تمتد جذورها إلى الماضي؛ فقبل اكتشاف النفط، ارتبطت حياة أهلها بالبحر والزراعة، وعُرفوا بأعمال البحر ومهنه، إلى جانب العناية بالأرض والمزارع. واليوم، تتجلى صور هذا العطاء في مجالات متعددة، من الرياضة إلى الأدب والفنون والثقافة والإعلام، في لوحة فسيفسائية تعكس ثراء الإنسان القديحي وتعدد مواهبه.
وأرى أن تسليط الضوء على هذه الطاقات والتعريف بأعمال أصحابها يفتح أمام مبدعي القديح ومبدعاتها آفاقًا أوسع للحضور والتأثير، ويمنح تجاربهم فرصة للوصول إلى جمهور أكبر، والمشاركة في إثراء المشهد الوطني، خصوصًا في ظل الحراك الذي تشهده المملكة والاهتمام الكبير باكتشاف المواهب وتمكينها وإبراز إبداعاتها.
وهنا تبرز أهمية الدور الإعلامي في البحث عن هذه الكفاءات، والتعريف بتجاربها وإنجازاتها عبر الحوارات والتقارير والمواد الصحفية التي تبرز أعمالها وتوصلها إلى الجمهور. وأتطلع إلى اهتمام أكبر من الزملاء الإعلاميين والصحفيين بهذه المواهب، سواء في المجال الرياضي أو الثقافي أو الفني، بما يسهم في اكتشاف طاقات تستحق الحضور في المشهد الوطني.
وحديثي عن القديح يأتي من اعتزازي بها؛ فأنا أحد أبنائها، وأجد في هذا التنوع مصدر فخر واعتزاز. وكم نفخر بإخواننا وأخواتنا من المبدعين والمبدعات، في الملاعب وخارجها، وهم يقدمون نماذج مشرّفة في مختلف مجالات العطاء.
ويأتي هذا الطموح انسجامًا مع ما توليه القيادة من اهتمام ودعم للمجالات العلمية والثقافية والرياضية والفنية، وما تشهده المملكة من نهضة شاملة تفتح آفاقًا واسعة أمام المواهب الوطنية، وتسهم في تمكينها وإبراز منجزاتها، لتكون جزءًا فاعلًا من المشهد الوطني الذي نفخر به جميعًا، ولتواصل المملكة بإنجازات أبنائها وبناتها رفع رايتها في مختلف المحافل الإقليمية والدولية.
فالرياضة تصنع الإنجاز، والثقافة تثري الوعي، والفنون تمنح الحياة أبعادًا أكثر جمالًا. وتبقى القديح بأبنائها وبناتها وتنوع عطائهم نموذجًا لثراء الإنسان حين تقترن الموهبة بالعمل والتواضع؛ فالسنابل كلما امتلأت بالحبوب انحنت، وكذلك العلم والإبداع تزداد قيمتهما بالتواضع والعطاء.
Due to my interest in sports affairs and my following of various events and developments at both local and international levels, my research led me to discover another aspect of the richness of my town, Al-Qudaih, which is represented in the diversity of its cultural, literary, and artistic energies, as well as the talents it hosts that deserve recognition and celebration.
To be honest, I did not expect to find such a large number of writers, poets, authors, painters, sculptors, calligraphers, photographers, producers, musicians, composers, performers, actors, directors, designers, and content creators, alongside intellectuals and media professionals of both genders. As I delved deeper into my research, names and creative experiences began to unfold before me, reflecting the vast cultural and artistic scene in Al-Qudaih.
Al-Qudaih is a story of diversity with roots extending into the past; before the discovery of oil, the lives of its people were tied to the sea and agriculture, and they were known for their work at sea and its professions, alongside caring for the land and farms. Today, the images of this giving manifest in multiple fields, from sports to literature, arts, culture, and media, in a mosaic that reflects the richness of the people of Al-Qudaih and the diversity of their talents.
I believe that shining a light on these energies and introducing their works opens wider horizons for the creators of Al-Qudaih, granting their experiences the opportunity to reach a larger audience and participate in enriching the national scene, especially in light of the movement witnessed by the Kingdom and the significant interest in discovering, empowering, and showcasing talents.
Here, the importance of the media’s role in seeking out these competencies and introducing their experiences and achievements through interviews, reports, and journalistic materials that highlight their works and connect them to the audience becomes evident. I look forward to greater interest from my media and journalistic colleagues in these talents, whether in sports, culture, or the arts, contributing to the discovery of energies that deserve to be present in the national scene.
My discussion of Al-Qudaih comes from my pride in it; I am one of its sons, and I find in this diversity a source of pride and honor. How proud we are of our brothers and sisters among the creators, both on and off the fields, as they present honorable examples in various fields of giving.
This ambition aligns with the attention and support that the leadership gives to scientific, cultural, sports, and artistic fields, and what the Kingdom is witnessing in a comprehensive renaissance that opens wide horizons for national talents, contributing to empowering them and showcasing their achievements, so they become an active part of the national scene that we all take pride in, allowing the Kingdom to continue raising its flag in various regional and international forums through the achievements of its sons and daughters.
Sports create achievement, culture enriches awareness, and the arts give life more beautiful dimensions. Al-Qudaih, with its sons and daughters and the diversity of their contributions, remains a model of human richness when talent is coupled with work and humility; for the ears of grain, the more they are filled with seeds, the more they bend, and similarly, knowledge and creativity increase in value through humility and giving.
