أعلنت مديرية الأمن العام الأردنية، أن فرق التحقيق والمداهمة الخاصة المشتركة والأجهزة الأمنية تمكنت اليوم، من القبض على منفذي العملية الإرهابية التي استهدفت مواطنين أردنيين في كنيسة بقرية حمود بمحافظة الكرك.
وأوضحت المديرية في بيان لها، أن الإرهابيين الثلاثة تحصنوا داخل أحد المنازل المهجورة، ورفضوا الاستسلام، وبادروا بإطلاق النار باتجاه القوة الأمنية، التي تعاملت معهم وفق قواعد الاشتباك حتى تمكنت من السيطرة عليهم والقبض عليهم بعد إصابتهم جميعا، دون وقوع إصابات في صفوف القوة الأمنية.
وأضافت أنه ضُبطت بحوزتهم مجموعة من الأسلحة النارية والعتاد، بعد تفتيش موقع تحصنهم.
The Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced that the joint special investigation and raid teams, along with security forces, were able today to arrest the perpetrators of the terrorist operation that targeted Jordanian citizens in a church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate.
The directorate clarified in a statement that the three terrorists had fortified themselves inside an abandoned house and refused to surrender, initiating gunfire towards the security forces, who engaged with them according to the rules of engagement until they were able to control and arrest them after injuring all of them, without any injuries among the security forces.
It added that a collection of firearms and ammunition was seized from them after searching their fortified location.
