بحث وزير التعليم يوسف بن عبدالله البنيان، خلال زيارته الرسمية إلى الجمهورية التركية في الفترة من 26 إلى 27 أكتوبر 2026م، آفاق تطوير التعاون السعودي التركي في المجالات التعليمية والأكاديمية والبحثية، وتعزيز الشراكات بين المؤسسات التعليمية والجامعات ومراكز البحث والابتكار في البلدين، بما يفتح مجالات أوسع للتكامل وتبادل الخبرات وبناء المبادرات المشتركة.
وشملت الزيارة لقاء وزير التربية الوطنية التركي يوسف تكين، حيث جرت مراسم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين الجانبين، إلى جانب اجتماع ثنائي مع رئيس مجلس التعليم العالي التركي الدكتور إيرول أوزفار، بحضور رؤساء عدد من الجامعات التركية؛ لبحث فرص تطوير الشراكات الأكاديمية، وتطوير البرامج والمبادرات التعليمية المشتركة، إلى جانب دعم تعلم اللغة العربية، وتعزيز التبادل الطلابي وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين، والتدريب التقني والمهني.
وتضمنت الزيارة كذلك، لقاء رئيس مجلس البحث العلمي والتكنولوجي في تركيا (TUBTAK)، البروفيسور الدكتور أورهان آيدين، بحث فيها الجانبان فرص التعاون في البحث العلمي والابتكار وتطوير المشاريع البحثية المشتركة في المجالات ذات الأولوية، بما في ذلك الذكاء الاصطناعي، والطاقة، وعلوم الفضاء، وتعزيز الشراكات بين الجامعات ومراكز الأبحاث ومناطق التطوير التقني في البلدين.
والتقى البنيان بالطلبة السعوديين الدارسين في الجامعات التركية، وذلك خلال زيارته الملحقية الثقافية السعودية في تركيا، مؤكداً حرص الوزارة على تقديم الدعم الكامل لهم وتقديم التسهيلات التي تسهم في دعم مسيرتهم التعليمية.
وتأتي الزيارة في إطار حرص المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية التركية على توسيع آفاق التعاون في المجالات التعليمية والعلمية والبحثية، وبناء شراكات إستراتيجية مستدامة تسهم في تطوير القدرات البشرية، وتعزيز التميّز الأكاديمي والبحثي، ودعم الابتكار، وتحقيق الأولويات المشتركة للبلدين.
During his official visit to the Republic of Turkey from October 26 to 27, 2026, Minister of Education Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan discussed the prospects for developing Saudi-Turkish cooperation in educational, academic, and research fields, as well as enhancing partnerships between educational institutions, universities, and research and innovation centers in both countries, opening wider avenues for integration, experience exchange, and building joint initiatives.
The visit included a meeting with Turkish Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, where a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two sides, along with a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the Turkish Higher Education Council, Dr. Erol Özvar, in the presence of the heads of several Turkish universities; to discuss opportunities for developing academic partnerships, joint educational programs and initiatives, as well as supporting Arabic language learning, enhancing student and faculty exchange, and technical and vocational training.
The visit also included a meeting with the President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBTAK), Professor Dr. Orhan Aydin, where both sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and innovation and the development of joint research projects in priority areas, including artificial intelligence, energy, space sciences, and enhancing partnerships between universities, research centers, and technical development regions in both countries.
Al-Bunyan met with Saudi students studying at Turkish universities during his visit to the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Turkey, affirming the ministry’s commitment to providing them with full support and facilitating their educational journey.
The visit comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey’s commitment to expanding cooperation in educational, scientific, and research fields, and building sustainable strategic partnerships that contribute to developing human capacities, enhancing academic and research excellence, supporting innovation, and achieving the common priorities of both countries.
