أعلنت قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف، اليوم (الأحد)، تنفيذ عملية عسكرية نوعية لتحييد مصادر حيوية تستخدمها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية في دعم مجهودها الحربي، وتعزيز قدراتها العسكرية، مؤكدةً أن العملية تأتي رداً على الاعتداءات الحوثية المتكررة التي تهدد المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، وأمن المملكة واليمن، وخطوط الملاحة البحرية جنوب البحر الأحمر.
وصرح المتحدث باسم قوات التحالف «تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن» اللواء الركن تركي المالكي في بيان، باستمرار المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية في اعتداءاتها المتعمدة والمنهجية على المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في اليمن والمملكة وبثبوت استمرار تسخير المصادر الحيوية لدعم مجهودها الحربي وتعزيز قدراتها العسكرية وخصوصاً الباليستية والطائرات المسيرة، ما يؤكد منهجيتها الإرهابية والوحشية من خلال توظيف المصادر الحيوية لخدمة أنشطتها العدائية.
وأوضح اللواء المالكي أنه على إثر استمرار هذه الاعتداءات وما تمثله من تهديد مباشر على أرواح المدنيين وسلامة الأعيان المدنية، فقد نفذت قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف عملية عسكرية نوعية صباح اليوم لتحييد المصادر الحيوية المستخدمة من قبل المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية لتنفيذ اعتداءاتها المتكررة والوحشية وكذلك تهديد أمن المملكة واليمن وخطوط الملاحة البحرية جنوب البحر الأحمر.
وأكد اللواء المالكي استمرار قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف في اتخاذ وتنفيذ الإجراءات العملياتية اللازمة لردع سلوك المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية ووقف استخدام المصادر الحيوية لدعم مجهودها الحربي، داعياً المليشيا الحوثية إلى وقف كافة العمليات العدائية والوحشية تجاه المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، ما لم يكن، فعلى المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية تحمل نتائج سلوكها العدائي.

The spokesman for the Coalition Forces, “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated in a statement that the Houthi terrorist militia continues its deliberate and systematic attacks on civilians and civilian objects in Yemen and the Kingdom, and that it has been proven that it continues to exploit vital resources to support its war efforts and enhance its military capabilities, especially ballistic and drone capabilities. Major General Al-Maliki affirmed the continued commitment of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to take and implement the necessary operational measures to deter the behavior of the Houthi terrorist militia and to stop the use of vital resources to support its war efforts. He called on the Houthi militia to cease all hostile and brutal operations against civilians and civilian objects; otherwise, the Houthi terrorist militia will bear the consequences of its hostile behavior.
