A Catastrophic First Half.. and Fan Protests
Manchester United delivered a disastrous performance in the first half, conceding two goals within the first 18 minutes, scored by Matias Soulé and Doniel Malen from a penalty kick.
As frustration grew in the stands, fans expressed their anger over the team’s continued decline in performance by throwing tennis balls and green and yellow balloons onto the pitch, protesting the way the Glazer family manages the club.
A Comeback in the Second Half
Manchester United rallied in the second half, starting their comeback with Bruno Fernandes reducing the deficit in the 58th minute from a penalty kick.
Matheus Cunha ignited the Old Trafford stands by scoring the equalizer in the 83rd minute, then added the winning goal in the 86th minute, leading his team to a thrilling comeback against the “Wolves.”
Cunha’s Red Card
