واصل الإسباني كارلوس ألكاراز، المصنف الثالث عالمياً، تعزيز حضوره بين كبار التنس، بعدما بلغ نصف نهائي بطولة باريس للأساتذة، إثر فوزه على الأمريكي تايلور فريتز بمجموعتين مقابل واحدة، في مواجهة امتدت إلى ثلاث مجموعات وشهدت تقلبات مثيرة.
وحسم فريتز المجموعة الأولى بنتيجة 7-6 (12-10)، قبل أن يعود ألكاراز ويفوز بالمجموعتين الثانية والثالثة 7-5 و6-3، ليحجز مقعده في المربع الذهبي للمرة الأولى في مشاركاته ببطولة باريس.
ويحمل هذا التأهل دلالة إحصائية مهمة للإسباني، إذ يمثل ظهوره الخامس عشر في نصف نهائي بطولات الماسترز ذات الألف نقطة، مؤكداً استمراريته في المنافسة على الألقاب الكبرى، وقدرته على تجاوز الاختبارات الصعبة.

Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, continued to strengthen his presence among the tennis elite after reaching the semifinals of the Paris Masters, following his victory over American Taylor Fritz in three sets, with a score of two sets to one, in a match that featured exciting twists.
Fritz won the first set 7-6 (12-10), before Alcaraz came back to win the second and third sets 7-5 and 6-3, securing his place in the semifinals for the first time in his appearances at the Paris tournament.
This qualification carries significant statistical importance for the Spaniard, as it marks his fifteenth appearance in the semifinals of the Masters 1000 tournaments, confirming his consistency in competing for major titles and his ability to overcome tough challenges.
Alcaraz also stands out with an impressive statistic against previous Masters champions; he has achieved 33 victories against 11 losses, with a success rate of 75%, which is historically the best among players who have played at least ten matches against this category.
The Spaniard is set to face Norwegian Casper Ruud in the semifinals, after the latter defeated Portuguese Nuno Borges in straight sets, with scores of 7-6 and 6-4.
