A massive public celebration held by the residents of Ain Shams yesterday (Friday) to mark the start of filming for the series starring Ahmed El Awady, set to air during Ramadan 2027 titled “Sultan Al-Deeb,” turned into a scene of rapid events that witnessed a humanitarian intervention from the star to save the situation after it spiraled out of control.
The activities, which began after the Friday prayer in response to a wide public invitation from the people of Ain Shams and Matariya, were filled with a festive atmosphere that included the slaughtering of a calf in celebration of the new work. However, the huge crowds and intense pushing led to verbal altercations that escalated into physical confrontations inside one of the butcher shops, and El Awady did not hesitate to intervene personally to resolve the dispute and calm the atmosphere.
Not only did El Awady break up the fights, but he also rushed to save a girl who had suffered a panic attack due to the pushing, and he made sure to reconcile with one of the local youths, assuring him that he refused to leave angrily with his famous phrase, “You’re not leaving upset.” He also showed intense emotion and complete protection for the children during his departure, reprimanding his driver to prevent any harm that might come to a child who climbed onto the car to take a commemorative photo, emphasizing that the safety of his audience always comes above all else.
