استبعد مسؤول أمريكي توقيع الاتفاق مع إيران اليوم (الأحد)، مؤكداً أنه سيستغرق أياماً لاستكمال الموافقات اللازمة.
ونقل موقع «إكسيوس» عن مسؤول أمريكي قوله: «من غير المتوقع توقيع الاتفاق مع إيران الأحد، ولا تزال هناك أمور يتعين حسمها»، مضيفاً: «المرشد الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي، كما فهمنا، وافق على الإطار العام الواسع للاتفاق».
وأشار المسؤول إلى أن النظام الإيراني بصيغته الحالية لا يتحرك بسرعة، وأن الأمر سيستغرق أياماً لاستكمال الموافقات اللازمة، مبيناً أن هناك بعض الصياغات المهمة بالنسبة لواشنطن، وأخرى مهمة بالنسبة لطهران.
من جهة أخرى، بحث وفد إيراني اليوم، في سلطنة عمان، مجموعة من المبادئ التي تحكم حرية الملاحة عبر مضيق هرمز وفقاً لقواعد القانون الدولي، بحسب وزارة الخارجية العمانية.
وذكرت الوزارة، عبر منصة «إكس»، أن الوزير بدر البوسعيدي تلقى رسالة شفوية من نظيره الإيراني عباس عراقجي، خلال استقباله نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني للشؤون القانونية والدولية كاظم غريب آبادي، الذي يزور عمان حالياً على رأس وفد دبلوماسي وقانوني.
وأضافت أن الرسالة تأتي في إطار التشاور والتعاون المستمر بين البلدين، وتطرقت إلى المحادثات الإيرانية ـ الأمريكية الجارية عبر الوساطة الباكستانية، والجهود المبذولة لإنجاحها.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن الرسالة تناولت حرص البلدين على استئناف حرية الملاحة عبر مضيق هرمز بصورة آمنة ومستدامة.
كما أوضحت أنه عقب اللقاء عُقد اجتماع موسع بين الوفدين العماني والإيراني لبحث المبادئ المنظمة لحرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز وفق القانون الدولي، حيث تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن المستجدات الراهنة وسبل تطوير القدرات الكفيلة بضمان سلامة حركة الشحن والتجارة وسلاسل الإمداد.

The Axios website quoted an American official as saying: “It is not expected that the agreement with Iran will be signed on Sunday, and there are still matters that need to be resolved,” adding: “The Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, as we understand, has approved the broad general framework of the agreement.”
The official pointed out that the Iranian regime in its current form does not move quickly, and that it will take days to complete the necessary approvals, indicating that there are some important formulations for Washington and others important for Tehran.
On the other hand, an Iranian delegation discussed today, in Oman, a set of principles governing freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz according to international law, according to the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry mentioned, via the X platform, that Minister Badr al-Busaidi received an oral message from his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi during his reception of the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharib Abadi, who is currently visiting Oman at the head of a diplomatic and legal delegation.
It added that the message comes within the framework of ongoing consultation and cooperation between the two countries, and addressed the ongoing Iranian-American talks mediated by Pakistan, and the efforts being made to ensure their success.
The ministry indicated that the message discussed the two countries’ commitment to resuming freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in a safe and sustainable manner.
It also clarified that following the meeting, an extensive meeting was held between the Omani and Iranian delegations to discuss the principles governing freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz according to international law, where both sides exchanged views on current developments and ways to enhance the capabilities necessary to ensure the safety of shipping, trade, and supply chains.
