قتل مدنيان وأصيب ثالث اليوم (الأحد)، في قصف حوثي استهدف سيارة إسعاف في منطقة العاوات غربي منطقة الشقب بمديرية صبر الموادم، جنوبي شرق محافظة تعز.
وأوضحت مصادر محلية أن مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية استهدفت سيارة الإسعاف بوابل من النيران أثناء مرورها في الطريق العام بمنطقة العاوات، ما أسفر عن مقتل الجريح الذي كانت تقله ووالده وإصابة أحد أفراد الطاقم الإسعافي الذي كان يحاول تقديم المساعدة، موضحة أن الاستهداف نُفذ من مواقع المليشيا في أطراف منطقة السينة، وذلك باستخدام أسلحة القناصة وسلاح معدل ما أدى إلى محاصرة وتضرر سيارة الإسعاف وتعذر انتشال الضحايا في ظل استمرار التهديد الناري، الأمر الذي استدعى وصول فريق إسعافي آخر من أعلى جبل صبر للمساعدة في انتشالهم.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن هذا الاعتداء هو الثالث الذي ترتكبه مليشيا الحوثي ضد سيارات الإسعاف خلال أدائها مهامها الإنسانية.
وكانت المليشيا الحوثية قد استهدفت الأسبوع الماضي سيارة إسعاف في جبل صبر وقتلت سائق السيارة وإصابة الدكتور إضافة إلى قتل المسعوفين الذين كانوا في السيارة.
Two civilians were killed and a third was injured today (Sunday) in a Houthi shelling that targeted an ambulance in the Al-Awat area, west of the Shuqab area in the Sabir Al-Mawadim district, southeast of Taiz Governorate.
Local sources indicated that the Houthi terrorist militia targeted the ambulance with a barrage of gunfire while it was passing on the main road in the Al-Awat area, resulting in the death of the injured person it was transporting along with his father, and injuring one of the paramedics who was trying to provide assistance. The sources clarified that the attack was carried out from the militia’s positions on the outskirts of the Al-Sina area, using sniper rifles and modified weapons, which led to the ambush and damage of the ambulance, making it impossible to retrieve the victims amid ongoing gunfire threats. This situation necessitated the arrival of another rescue team from the top of Mount Sabir to assist in retrieving them.
The sources pointed out that this attack is the third committed by the Houthi militia against ambulances while they were performing their humanitarian duties.
Last week, the Houthi militia targeted an ambulance in Mount Sabir, killing the driver and injuring the doctor, in addition to killing the injured individuals who were in the vehicle.
