ألقى التصعيد الإسرائيلي في لبنان بظلاله على المفاوضات الأمريكية الإيرانية التي يترقب انطلاقها في سويسرا خلال الساعات القادمة، بعد أن تأجلت، الجمعة. في وقت وصل المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف إلى سويسرا، وسط ترقب لوصول الوفد الإيراني.
وفي تصعيد جديد، أعلنت القيادة العسكرية المشتركة العليا، إغلاق مضيق هرمز «نظراً لما اعتبرته خرق الولايات المتحدة لمذكرة التفاهم واستمرار العدوان الإسرائيلي في جنوب لبنان»، وفق ما نقلت وسائل إعلام إيرانية. وأكدت أن الإغلاق «خطوة أولى»، وحذرت من إجراءات إضافية إذا «استمر العدوان» الإسرائيلي.
إلا أن نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس، أعلن أنه لا دليل على إغلاق إيران مضيق هرمز. وقال فانس في مقابلة مع «فوكس نيوز»، إن واشنطن «ستمنح فرصة للمفاوضات مع إيران».
في غضون ذلك، التقى وزير الداخلية الباكستاني محسن نقوي، اليوم، في مدينة مشهد شمال شرقي إيران وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، وفق ما أفادت وكالات رسمية إيرانية.
وأعلن المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، أن زيارة نقوي تأتي في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها إسلام آباد، فيما يتعلق بالمفاوضات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، بحسب وكالة «إسنا» للأنباء. وأفاد بأن الوفد الإيراني سيغادر إلى سويسرا خلال ساعات للمتابعة والمطالبة بتنفيذ التزامات الطرف الآخر.
وكشفت مصادر مطلعة أن الوزير الباكستاني نقل إلى الجانب الإيراني رسائل إقناع من أجل بدء المحادثات الفنية مع أمريكا. وأشارت إلى أن نقوي سعى لإقناع الوفد الإيراني بعدم تأجيل مشاركته في المفاوضات.
وذكرت المصادر أنه «في حال موافقة إيران على المشاركة في المفاوضات دون تأجيل فسيتوجه وفد باكستاني رفيع إلى سويسرا». وأكدت أن «القضية الشائكة الرئيسية في المفاوضات الآن بين الجانبين تتعلق بلبنان». وكشفت أن الوفد الإيراني هدد بالانسحاب من المفاوضات إذا واصلت إسرائيل هجماتها في لبنان.
من جهته، أعلن الجيش اللبناني في منشور على منصة «إكس»، أن إسرائيل شنت هجمات على جنوب البلاد ومنطقة البقاع، ما أسفر عن سقوط ضحايا وإصابات وأضرار واسعة في الممتلكات. وأفادت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام بسقوط عشرات الضحايا في مناطق متفرقة، إذ أفادت بأن الحصيلة الأولية للغارات الإسرائيلية على بلدة قناريت جنوب البلاد، بلغت 7 ضحايا، و13 مصاباً.
وقال الدفاع المدني اللبناني إنه نقل 16 ضحية و12 مصاباً جراء القصف الإسرائيلي على منطقة النبطية.
في المقابل، اعتبر الجيش الإسرائيلي أن «حزب الله» انتهك اتفاق وقف النار في لبنان، وأن الجماعة أطلقت أكثر من 50 مقذوفاً باتجاه القوات الإسرائيلية في جنوب لبنان خلال الليل، وزعم أن الغارات التي يشنها على لبنان جاءت «في أعقاب هذه الهجمات».
وأضاف: «إذا توقف حزب الله عن انتهاك اتفاقات وقف إطلاق النار، يمكن تحقيق الاستقرار لكل من لبنان وإسرائيل»، على حد قوله.
وأكد الجيش اللبناني، السبت، أن استمرار الهجمات الإسرائيلية على لبنان يهدف إلى عرقلة الجهود المبذولة لاستعادة الاستقرار في البلاد.
وأضاف في بيان عبر منصة «إكس»: «تتواصل الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية الوحشية على لبنان بعدما طال التصعيد الأخير مناطق واسعة في الجنوب وصولاً إلى البقاع، موقعاً المزيد من الشهداء والجرحى، ومسبباً دماراً كبيراً في الممتلكات».
وأفاد الجيش بأن غارة إسرائيلية معادية استهدفت عسكرياً في الجيش على طريق كفررمان – النبطية ما أدى إلى مقتله، محذراً أن استمرار الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية الوحشية يهدف إلى عرقلة أي حل يتيح إعادة الاستقرار في لبنان.
The Israeli escalation in Lebanon has cast a shadow over the anticipated US-Iranian negotiations set to begin in Switzerland in the coming hours, after being postponed on Friday. Meanwhile, US envoy Steve Witkoff has arrived in Switzerland, awaiting the arrival of the Iranian delegation.
In a new escalation, the Supreme Joint Military Command announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz “due to what it deemed a violation by the United States of the memorandum of understanding and the continuation of Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon,” according to Iranian media reports. It confirmed that the closure is a “first step” and warned of additional measures if the “aggression” continues.
However, US Vice President JD Vance stated that there is no evidence of Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz. Vance said in an interview with “Fox News” that Washington “will give negotiations with Iran a chance.”
Meanwhile, Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met today in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to official Iranian news agencies.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei announced that Naqvi’s visit is part of Islamabad’s ongoing efforts regarding negotiations between Iran and the United States, according to the “ISNA” news agency. He stated that the Iranian delegation will depart for Switzerland within hours to follow up and demand the implementation of the other party’s commitments.
Informed sources revealed that the Pakistani minister conveyed persuasive messages to the Iranian side to initiate technical discussions with the US. They indicated that Naqvi sought to convince the Iranian delegation not to delay its participation in the negotiations.
Sources mentioned that “if Iran agrees to participate in the negotiations without delay, a high-level Pakistani delegation will head to Switzerland.” They confirmed that “the main contentious issue in the negotiations now between the two sides relates to Lebanon.” It was revealed that the Iranian delegation threatened to withdraw from the negotiations if Israel continued its attacks in Lebanon.
For its part, the Lebanese army announced in a post on the “X” platform that Israel launched attacks on southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region, resulting in casualties, injuries, and extensive property damage. The National News Agency reported dozens of casualties in various areas, stating that the initial toll from the Israeli raids on the town of Qunaitra in southern Lebanon reached 7 dead and 13 injured.
The Lebanese Civil Defense reported that it transported 16 dead and 12 injured due to the Israeli bombardment in the Nabatieh area.
In contrast, the Israeli army considered that “Hezbollah” violated the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, claiming that the group fired more than 50 projectiles at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon during the night, asserting that the airstrikes it launched on Lebanon came “in response to these attacks.”
It added: “If Hezbollah stops violating ceasefire agreements, stability can be achieved for both Lebanon and Israel,” according to its statement.
The Lebanese army confirmed on Saturday that the continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon aim to obstruct efforts to restore stability in the country.
It added in a statement via the “X” platform: “The brutal Israeli assaults on Lebanon continue after the recent escalation affected vast areas in the south, reaching the Bekaa, resulting in more martyrs and wounded, and causing significant destruction to property.”
The army reported that an Israeli hostile raid targeted a soldier in the army on the Kfar Rumman – Nabatieh road, leading to his death, warning that the continuation of the brutal Israeli assaults aims to obstruct any solution that allows for the restoration of stability in Lebanon.
