بتوجيه من مستشار خادم الحرمين الشريفين أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للحج والعمرة الأمير خالد بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز، رأس نائب أمير المنطقة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، اجتماع اللجنة لمناقشة أعمال موسم العمرة والاستعدادات لحج العام الحالي.
واطلعت اللجنة خلال الاجتماع على جهود الجهات ذات العلاقة بخدمة المعتمرين، والهادفة إلى تقديم جميع التسهيلات لقاصدي المسجد الحرام لتمكينهم من أداء مناسكهم بيسر وطمأنينة.
وتابعت اللجنة سير الأعمال في مطار الملك عبدالعزيز الدولي وجاهزية طاقته الاستيعابية لخدمة 65 مليون مسافر سنوياً، إلى جانب منظومة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن وتشمل منصات إنهاء الإجراءات والمراكز الصحية والاستراحات المكيفة وصالات الترحيب.
واستعرضت اللجنة آخر المستجدات المتعلقة بالاستعداد المبكر لحج العام الحالي والمشاريع التطويرية الجاري تنفيذها للتسهيل على الحجاج، كما ناقشت عدداً من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال، واتخذت بشأنها التوصيات اللازمة.
Under the guidance of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of the Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Emir of the region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, chaired the committee meeting to discuss the activities of the Umrah season and preparations for this year’s Hajj.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the efforts of the relevant authorities in serving the Umrah pilgrims, aimed at providing all facilities for those heading to the Sacred Mosque to enable them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
The committee monitored the progress of operations at King Abdulaziz International Airport and the readiness of its capacity to serve 65 million passengers annually, in addition to the service system provided to the guests of the Merciful, which includes processing platforms, health centers, air-conditioned lounges, and welcome halls.
The committee reviewed the latest developments related to the early preparations for this year’s Hajj and the ongoing developmental projects being implemented to facilitate the experience for the pilgrims. It also discussed several topics listed on the agenda and made the necessary recommendations regarding them.
