أعلنت وزارة الخارجية إتاحة برنامج Global Entry للمواطنين السعوديين، وهو أحد برامج المسافر الموثوق (Trusted Traveler Programs) التابعة لوكالة الجمارك وحماية الحدود الأمريكية، حيث يتيح البرنامج تسريع إجراءات الدخول إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عبر المسارات المخصصة للمسافرين الموثوقين، وذلك بعد استيفاء متطلبات البرنامج والحصول على الموافقات اللازمة.
ويقدم البرنامج الذي يأتي في إطار تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين المملكة العربية السعودية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، العديد من المزايا أبرزها توفير تجربة سفر أكثر سرعة وسلاسة عند السفر إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وتقليل أوقات الانتظار أثناء إجراءات الدخول والتفتيش الأمني.
ويمكن للمواطنين السعوديين الراغبين في الانضمام إلى البرنامج التقديم إلكترونيًا عبر الموقع الرسمي لبرامج المسافر الموثوق: وذلك بعد استيفاء المتطلبات الأولية، علمًا بأن مدة صلاحية العضوية في البرنامج تصل إلى 5 سنوات.
كما يمكن للمواطنين السعوديين المنضمين إلى البرنامج الاستفادة من مزايا برنامجي (Global Entry) و(TSA PreCheck) ضمن عضوية واحدة، إذ يغطي البرنامج أكثر من 200 مطار داخل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بالتعاون مع أكثر من 80 شركة طيران مشاركة.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the availability of the Global Entry program for Saudi citizens, which is one of the Trusted Traveler Programs managed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This program allows for expedited entry into the United States through dedicated lanes for trusted travelers, after meeting the program requirements and obtaining the necessary approvals.
The program, which is part of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, offers many benefits, the most notable of which is providing a faster and smoother travel experience when traveling to the United States, as well as reducing wait times during entry and security screening procedures.
Saudi citizens wishing to join the program can apply online through the official website of the Trusted Traveler Programs: after fulfilling the initial requirements. It is worth noting that the membership in the program is valid for up to 5 years.
Additionally, Saudi citizens who join the program can benefit from the advantages of both the Global Entry and TSA PreCheck programs under a single membership, as the program covers more than 200 airports within the United States, in collaboration with over 80 participating airlines.
