وصعد سعر الذهب بمقدار 34.90 دولارًا أي بنسبة 0.86% إلى 4073.30 دولارًا للأوقية تسليم ديسمبر، في حين ارتفعت أسعار الفضة بمقدار 0.119 دولار أي بنسبة 0.22% إلى 54.460 دولارًا للأوقية تسليم ديسمبر.
ورفع المجلس سعر الفائدة في الشهر الماضي لأول مرة منذ 2023، حيث قرر زيادتها بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس إلى ما يتراوح بين 3.75% و4%.
Gold prices rose in trading on Tuesday for the second consecutive day, as markets await the decision of the Federal Reserve (the U.S. central bank) regarding interest rates.
The price of gold increased by $34.90, or 0.86%, to $4,073.30 per ounce for December delivery, while silver prices rose by $0.119, or 0.22%, to $54.460 per ounce for December delivery.
The Fed raised interest rates last month for the first time since 2023, deciding to increase them by 25 basis points to a range of 3.75% to 4%.
