أكد وكيل وزارة الرياضة للإعلام والتسويق الدكتور عادل الزهراني أن الوزارة تمضي قدماً في تنفيذ مشروع تخصيص الأندية الرياضية، معلناً طرح خمسة أندية جديدة ضمن المرحلة القادمة، هي: الرياض، الفتح، أبها، الطائي، والشعلة، ليرتفع بذلك عدد الأندية التي دخلت مسار التخصيص أو يجري استكمال إجراءاتها إلى 18 نادياً.
وأوضح الزهراني في تصريحات إلى «عكاظ» أن مشروع تخصيص الأندية يُعد إحدى أبرز قصص النجاح في القطاع الرياضي السعودي، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة تستهدف من خلاله تسريع وتيرة التطوير ورفع الكفاءة الإدارية والمالية والرياضية للأندية، بما يعزز استدامتها ويضمن تحقيق مستهدفاتها المستقبلية.
وشدد على أن جميع الأندية متاحة أمام المستثمرين الراغبين في الدخول إلى القطاع الرياضي، مبيناً أن المستثمرين يمكنهم التقدم وإبداء رغبتهم في الاستثمار والحصول على المعلومات والتفاصيل المتعلقة بالأندية عبر القنوات الرسمية المعتمدة.
وحول آلية اختيار الأندية المطروحة للتخصيص، أوضح أن الوزارة تبدأ باستقبال رغبات الشركات المهتمة بالاستثمار، ثم تقييم جاهزية النادي المستهدف، إلى جانب دراسة قدرات المستثمرين الإدارية والاستثمارية والمالية، مؤكداً أن قرار الطرح يستند إلى جاهزية الطرفين معاً.
وأكد الزهراني أن الوزارة لن تطرح أي نادٍ للتخصيص ما لم تتأكد من وجود مستثمر مؤهل يمتلك الكفاءة والملاءة المالية والخبرة اللازمة لتطوير النادي واستثماره بالشكل الأمثل، مشدداً على أن الحفاظ على مستقبل الأندية واستدامتها يمثل أولوية رئيسية في جميع مراحل المشروع.
وخلال المؤتمر الدوري للقطاع الرياضي، الذي عُقد في الرياض، كشفت وزارة الرياضة تلقيها 80 رغبة استثمارية للاستحواذ أو الاستثمار في 22 نادياً، فيما أشارت إلى قرب طرح ناديي النجمة والأخدود ضمن المراحل القادمة من المشروع.
كما أعلنت الوزارة إعادة طرح نادي الشباب أمام شريحة أوسع من المستثمرين بعد عدم توافر الجدية المطلوبة في العروض السابقة، مؤكدة أنها لن تخاطر بمستقبل الأندية من خلال قبول عروض لا تستوفي المعايير المعتمدة.
وفي سياق متصل، أوضحت الوزارة وجود اهتمام محلي ودولي بالاستثمار في نادي الاتفاق، في وقت يواصل فيه القطاع الرياضي السعودي جذب المزيد من الاستثمارات، مدعوماً بالإصلاحات التنظيمية والتشريعية التي يشهدها القطاع.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى قرب دخول نظام الرياضة الجديد حيز التنفيذ، مؤكدة أن مؤشرات النمو تعكس نجاح مسار التحول الرياضي، إذ ارتفعت القيمة السوقية للأندية بأكثر من 200%، فيما تجاوز نمو إيرادات رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين نسبة 100% خلال الفترة الماضية.
واختتم الزهراني حديثه بدعوة المستثمرين المحليين والدوليين إلى الاستفادة من الفرص الواعدة التي يوفرها القطاع الرياضي السعودي، والمشاركة في مسيرة النمو والتطور التي تشهدها المملكة ضمن مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Media and Marketing, Dr. Adel Al-Zahrani, confirmed that the ministry is moving forward with the implementation of the sports clubs privatization project, announcing the introduction of five new clubs in the upcoming phase: Riyadh, Al-Fateh, Abha, Al-Tai, and Al-Shu’la, thus raising the number of clubs that have entered the privatization path or are in the process of completing their procedures to 18 clubs.
Al-Zahrani explained in statements to “Okaz” that the clubs privatization project is one of the most prominent success stories in the Saudi sports sector, pointing out that the ministry aims through it to accelerate the pace of development and enhance the administrative, financial, and sports efficiency of the clubs, which will promote their sustainability and ensure the achievement of their future goals.
He emphasized that all clubs are available to investors wishing to enter the sports sector, indicating that investors can apply and express their interest in investing and obtain information and details related to the clubs through the approved official channels.
Regarding the mechanism for selecting clubs proposed for privatization, he clarified that the ministry begins by receiving the interests of companies interested in investment, then evaluates the readiness of the targeted club, in addition to studying the administrative, investment, and financial capabilities of the investors, confirming that the decision to propose is based on the readiness of both parties together.
Al-Zahrani confirmed that the ministry will not propose any club for privatization unless it is assured of the presence of a qualified investor who possesses the necessary competence, financial solvency, and experience to optimally develop and invest in the club, stressing that preserving the future and sustainability of the clubs is a primary priority at all stages of the project.
During the periodic conference for the sports sector, which was held in Riyadh, the Ministry of Sports revealed that it had received 80 investment interests for acquiring or investing in 22 clubs, while indicating the imminent proposal of the clubs Al-Najma and Al-Akhdoood in the upcoming phases of the project.
The ministry also announced the re-proposal of Al-Shabab Club to a wider segment of investors after the lack of seriousness required in previous offers, confirming that it will not jeopardize the future of the clubs by accepting offers that do not meet the approved criteria.
In a related context, the ministry clarified that there is local and international interest in investing in Al-Ittifaq Club, at a time when the Saudi sports sector continues to attract more investments, supported by the regulatory and legislative reforms taking place in the sector.
The ministry pointed to the imminent implementation of the new sports system, confirming that growth indicators reflect the success of the sports transformation path, as the market value of the clubs has increased by more than 200%, while the revenue growth of the Saudi Professional League exceeded 100% during the past period.
Al-Zahrani concluded his remarks by inviting local and international investors to take advantage of the promising opportunities provided by the Saudi sports sector and to participate in the growth and development journey that the Kingdom is witnessing within the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
