تلقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله اتصالات هاتفية من وزراء خارجية المملكة المتحدة وإيران والبحرين، جرى خلالها بحث مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية، وتطورات التصعيد في المنطقة، والجهود المبذولة لاحتوائه.
وتناولت الاتصالات تداعيات الاعتداءات الحوثية على المملكة، حيث أدانت بريطانيا هذه الاعتداءات، مؤكدة تضامنها مع المملكة والحكومة اليمنية، فيما أعربت البحرين عن تعازيها للسعودية في ضحايا الاعتداء على مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض، وشددت على تضامنها الكامل مع المملكة ودعمها للإجراءات المتخذة لحماية أمنها واستقرارها.
كما بحث الاتصال مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني مستجدات التصعيد الإقليمي والجهود الرامية إلى معالجته.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received phone calls from the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, Iran, and Bahrain, during which they discussed the latest developments in the regional situation, the escalation in the area, and the efforts being made to contain it.
The calls addressed the repercussions of the Houthi attacks on the Kingdom, where Britain condemned these attacks, affirming its solidarity with the Kingdom and the Yemeni government. Bahrain expressed its condolences to Saudi Arabia for the victims of the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, emphasizing its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the measures taken to protect its security and stability.
The call with the Iranian foreign minister also discussed the latest developments in the regional escalation and the efforts aimed at addressing it.
