تسعى حكومتا السعودية وإندونيسيا إلى تعزيز التعاون في مجال السياحة، بما في ذلك زيادة التدفقات السياحية الثنائية.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع بين وزارة السياحة الإندونيسية ووزارة السياحة السعودية على هامش الدورة الـ126 للمجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة في مدينة طليطلة الإسبانية.
وقالت وزيرة السياحة الإندونيسية ويديانتي بوتري واردانا في بيان رسمي تم تأكيده اليوم (السبت): «السعودية واحدة من الشركاء الرئيسيين لإندونيسيا في الشرق الأوسط، وإندونيسيا مستعدة لتعميق تلك الشراكة، لاسيما في قطاع السياحة»، حسب وكالة أنتارا نيوز الإندونيسية للأنباء اليوم (السبت).
وطبقاً لبيان صحفي مشترك، أكدت الدولتان مجدداً أهمية الشراكة السياحية بين السعودية وإندونيسيا واستعرضتا التقدم الذي تم تحقيقه بموجب مذكرة التفاهم الحالية.
وبحث وفدا البلدين زيادة أعداد الزائرين الإندونيسيين إلى السعودية لأغراض دينية وترفيهية، مع التركيز على سبل إثراء رحلات الحجاج والمعتمرين الإندونيسيين من خلال تعريفهم بتجارب ومزارات أوسع تتجاوز مدينتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
The governments of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia are seeking to enhance cooperation in the field of tourism, including increasing bilateral tourist flows.
This came during a meeting between the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Ministry of Tourism on the sidelines of the 126th session of the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization in the Spanish city of Toledo.
Indonesian Tourism Minister Wishnutama Kusubandio stated in an official statement confirmed today (Saturday): “Saudi Arabia is one of Indonesia’s key partners in the Middle East, and Indonesia is ready to deepen that partnership, especially in the tourism sector,” according to Antara News Agency today (Saturday).
According to a joint press release, the two countries reaffirmed the importance of the tourism partnership between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia and reviewed the progress made under the current memorandum of understanding.
The delegations from both countries discussed increasing the number of Indonesian visitors to Saudi Arabia for religious and recreational purposes, focusing on ways to enrich the journeys of Indonesian pilgrims and Umrah performers by introducing them to broader experiences and attractions beyond the cities of Mecca and Medina.
