وقعت المملكة ممثلة في هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد وجمهورية كازاخستان ممثلة في لجنة الأمن القومي, اليوم (الخميس), مذكرة تفاهم في مجال منع الفساد ومكافحته وتعزيز التعاون المشترك.
ومثّل المملكة في توقيع المذكرة رئيس هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد مازن بن إبراهيم الكهموس، ومن الجانب الكازاخستاني رئيس لجنة الأمن القومي إرميك صاغميبايف، بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية كازاخستان فيصل بن حنيف القحطاني.
وتهدف مذكرة التفاهم إلى تعزيز التعاون في مجال مكافحة جرائم الفساد العابرة للحدود، وتبادل المعلومات المتعلقة بجرائم الفساد، وتطوير القدرة المؤسسية للطرفين وتعزيزها.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية كازاخستان، وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين البلدين في مجال حماية النزاهة ومكافحة الفساد.
واطَّلع الجانبان على أهم الإجراءات التي تقوم بها هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد في مجال حماية النزاهة، وتعزيز مبدأ الشفافية ومكافحة الفساد، إضافة إلى تجربة جمهورية كازاخستان في ذات المجال.
The Kingdom, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, represented by the National Security Committee, signed a memorandum of understanding today (Thursday) in the field of preventing and combating corruption and enhancing joint cooperation.
The Kingdom was represented in the signing of the memorandum by the Chairman of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, while the Kazakh side was represented by the Chairman of the National Security Committee, Ermik Sagymbayev, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Faisal bin Hanif Al-Qahtani.
The memorandum of understanding aims to enhance cooperation in combating transnational corruption crimes, exchanging information related to corruption crimes, and developing and strengthening the institutional capacity of both parties.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kazakhstan were reviewed, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of integrity protection and anti-corruption were discussed.
Both sides were informed about the key measures being taken by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority in the field of integrity protection, enhancing the principle of transparency, and combating corruption, in addition to the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the same field.
