بكل تأكيد لم يكن الأمر سهلاً خاصة حين يكون هدفك هو البطولة الأصعب طوال الموسم، فبطولة الدوري في كل دول العالم هي الأقوى والأصعب، ولا يحققها إلا الأقوياء الذين يعرفون كيف يتعاملون مع تفاصيلها طوال الموسم، النصر بطل دوري روشن هذا الموسم، وكل النقاد والمحللين والكثير من جماهير الأندية الأخرى اتفقوا على أن النصر هو الأجدر بتحقيق الدوري عطفا على ما قدمه في البطولة، مدرب النصر واللاعبون عاشوا مع هذه البطولة ظروفاً صعبة من بداية الفترة الصيفية، فالنصر دخل سباق الموسم، دون أن يكمل بعض احتياجاته من لاعبين، ثم بعد ذلك دخل النصر الفترة الشتوية، وكان السيد جيسوس يمني النفس ببعض التعاقدات التي تساعده على الفترة الثانية من الدوري، إلا أنه أصيب بخيبة أمل، وجُمِّدَت صلاحيات الفريق التنفيذي في نادي النصر، بالرغم أن الأندية المنافسة تعاملت مع الفترة بكثير من الاحترافية في تقديم ما تحتاجه أنديتهم من تعاقدات، في اللحظة التي كان النصر يعاني فيها من بعض الضعف في الفريق، حتى جاءت لحظة غضب قائد نادي النصر كريستيانو رونالدو احتجاجا على ما يحدث في المنافسة بين الأندية، خسر النصر وقتها خدمات قائد الفريق في بعض المباريات، جميعها ظروف كادت تعصف بأحلام النصر، وتقصيه من منافسات الموسم دون أن يحقق أي إنجاز يذكر، إلا أن وجود مدرب خبير مثل جيسوس أعاد التوازن للفريق، ومضى بكل ثقة بتحقيق هدفه الذي ظل يردده في كل المؤتمرات الصحفية التي شارك فيها، وفي نهاية المطاف وصل لما يريد وأصبح النصر بطلاً لدوري روشن.

Al-Nassr entered the season’s race without completing some of their needs for players. Then, when Al-Nassr entered the winter period, Mr. Jesus was hopeful for some signings that would assist him in the second half of the league, but he was met with disappointment as the executive powers of the team at Al-Nassr were frozen, despite the fact that competing clubs handled the period with a lot of professionalism in providing what their clubs needed in terms of signings, at the moment when Al-Nassr was suffering from some weaknesses in the team.
