مهمة جديدة تنتظر منتخبنا الوطني السعودي للناشئين لكرة القدم حينما يلاقي منتخب تايلند عند تمام الساعة الـ8:00 من مساء اليوم (السبت) على الملعب الرديف لمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، وذلك ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية للمجموعة الأولى لكأس آسيا تحت 17 عاماً والمقامة حالياً في السعودية.
يدخل منتخبنا الوطني هذا اللقاء وفي رصيده 3 نقاط بعد أن قدّم واحداً من أبرز العروض في الجولة الأولى، بعدما سجل علي المكي هدفين خلال الفوز 4-0 على ميانمار، ويسعى في لقاء الليلة لحصد النقاط الثلاث؛ لضمان التأهل للدور الثاني والوصول لكأس العالم تحت 17 عاماً، التي ستقام في قطر.
وطالب المدرب ماريو جورجي لاعبيه بتقديم عرض آخر بإيقاع مرتفع، في ظل سعي المنتخب المتوج باللقب مرتين لتحقيق الفوز الثاني توالياً.
ومن المتوقع أن يمثل اﻷخضر السعودي في لقاء الليلة كل من: عبدالله الماس (حارس مرمى)، مروان اليامي، علي اليحيى، جواد الهاشم، عمار ميمني، خالد شراحيلي، عبدالله الباتلي، حمد الشمري، علي المكي، عبدالله الدوسري، فارس بوشقراء.
في المقابل، سيكون المنتخب التايلندي متعطشاً للرد بعد أن تسبب هدف عكسي سجله فيتشارايوت سوبونما بمنح طاجيكستان التقدم المبكر، قبل أن يضيف محمدجون سانغينوف الهدف الثاني في الوقت بدل الضائع ليقود منتخب جنوب شرق آسيا إلى الخسارة في مباراته الافتتاحية، وسيكون على تايلند إظهار قدر أكبر من الفاعلية أمام أصحاب الأرض من أجل إحياء آماله في بلوغ الدور الإقصائي.
A new challenge awaits our Saudi national youth football team as they face the Thailand national team at exactly 8:00 PM this evening (Saturday) at the King Abdullah Sports City training ground in Jeddah, as part of the second round of Group A in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup currently being held in Saudi Arabia.
Our national team enters this match with 3 points after delivering one of the standout performances in the first round, with Ali Al-Makki scoring two goals during the 4-0 victory over Myanmar. They aim to secure three points tonight to guarantee qualification for the second round and reach the U-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
