تُوج ألكمار بطلاً لكأس هولندا للمرة الخامسة في تاريخه، بعد اكتساح نيميخن بخمسة أهداف مقابل هدف في المباراة التي أُقيمت أمس (الأحد) على ملعب «روتردام».

افتتح ميس دي ويت التسجيل لصالح ألكمار في الدقيقة 32، ثم عزز الفريق تقدمه بهدفين بتوقيع سفين مينانس وبير كوبمينرز في الدقيقتين 67 و73.
وقلص كوكي أوغاوا الفارق لفريق نيميخن في الدقيقة 78، لكن محاولات العودة لم تنجح، إذ فرض ألكمار سيطرته في الدقائق الأخيرة وسجل هدفين عبر كيس سميث وتروي باروت في الدقيقتين 90+1 و90+5.

بهذا التتويج، تأهل ألكمار إلى مرحلة الدوري في بطولة الدوري الأوروبي الموسم القادم، فيما خسر نيميخن جميع المباريات النهائية الست التي خاضها.
Alkmaar has been crowned the champion of the KNVB Cup for the fifth time in its history, after defeating Nijmegen with a score of five goals to one in the match held yesterday (Sunday) at the “Rotterdam” stadium.

Mis de Wit opened the scoring for Alkmaar in the 32nd minute, then the team extended its lead with two goals from Sven Mijnans and Bernd Korpmeiners in the 67th and 73rd minutes.
Koki Ogawa reduced the deficit for Nijmegen in the 78th minute, but attempts to come back were unsuccessful, as Alkmaar dominated in the final minutes and scored two goals through Kees Smit and Troy Parrott in the 90+1 and 90+5 minutes.

With this victory, Alkmaar qualified for the league stage of the UEFA Europa League for the upcoming season, while Nijmegen has lost all six finals it has played.
