Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the truth about Argentine star Lionel Messi’s potential return to Newell’s Old Boys, the club where he began his football career.

Will Messi return to his childhood club?
Romano wrote on his account on the platform “X”: “There are no ongoing negotiations regarding Lionel Messi’s return to Newell’s Old Boys, contrary to what some reports have circulated.”
Messi is committed to his contract
The reliable journalist noted that Messi is very happy at Inter Miami and wishes to complete his current contract until at least 2028, with the possibility of extending it for a longer period, which will be evaluated later.
