ورفع الهلال رصيده إلى 27 نقطة في المركز الأول، فيما تجمد رصيد القادسية عند 25 نقطة ثالثاً.
تقدم الهلال عبر البرازيلي غابرييل مارتينيلي (21)، وعادل المكسيكي جوليان كينيونيس للقادسية (31)، لينتهي الشوط الأول 1-1.
وفي الشوط الثاني، أعاد روبن نيفيز التقدم للهلال (77)، وأضاف سيرجي سافيتش الثالث (84)، قبل أن يقلص ماتيو ريتيغي الفارق للقادسية (87)، دون أن ينجح أصحاب الأرض في إدراك التعادل.
