كشف محمد إسماعيل، أحد أقارب لاعب البنك الأهلي السابق إبراهيم بغدادي، في تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»، تفاصيل جديدة عن واقعة مقتله داخل منزله في مصر، موضحاً ملابسات الخلاف الذي سبق الجريمة، وكيف تحولت زيارة عائلية إلى اعتداء دموي أودى بحياة اللاعب.
وقال إسماعيل إن إبراهيم اعتاد رش المياه أمام منزله يومياً خلال فترة العصر، وفي أحد الأيام وصلت المياه إلى طفلة تدرس بالصف الرابع الابتدائي، ما دفعها إلى إبلاغ والدتها، التي استدعت والد الطفلة وشقيقيها.
زيارة انتهت بجريمة
وأضاف أن إبراهيم استقبل الأسرة لدى وصولها ورحّب بهم، دون أن يتوقع ما سيحدث، إلا أن أحد الشابين أخرج سكيناً وسدد له طعنة في جانبه، ليتحول الموقف إلى اعتداء عنيف داخل المنزل.
وأوضح قريب الضحية أن إبراهيم وأفراد أسرته كانوا عُزّلاً داخل سور المنزل، في حين كان المعتدون يحملون سكاكين أخفوها بجوار أجسادهم، الأمر الذي جعل الأسرة تواجه اعتداءً لم تكن تتوقعه.
من الملاعب إلى نهاية مأساوية
وكان إبراهيم بغدادي لاعباً سابقاً في صفوف نادي البنك الأهلي، وانتقل لاحقاً إلى نادي زد، لكنه لم يستكمل مشواره في الملاعب، قبل أن تنتهي حياته في واقعة أثارت صدمة واسعة في مصر.

Mohamed Ismail, a relative of the former Al Ahly Bank player Ibrahim Baghdadi, revealed in exclusive statements to “Okaz” new details about the incident of his murder inside his home in Egypt, explaining the circumstances of the dispute that preceded the crime and how a family visit turned into a bloody assault that claimed the player’s life.
Ismail stated that Ibrahim was accustomed to spraying water in front of his house daily during the afternoon, and on one of those days, the water reached a girl studying in the fourth grade, prompting her to inform her mother, who then called the girl’s father and her brothers.
A Visit That Ended in a Crime
He added that Ibrahim welcomed the family upon their arrival and greeted them, not expecting what would happen. However, one of the young men pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the side, turning the situation into a violent assault inside the house.
The victim’s relative clarified that Ibrahim and his family members were isolated within the walls of the house, while the assailants carried knives hidden next to their bodies, which made the family face an assault they did not anticipate.
From the Fields to a Tragic End
Ibrahim Baghdadi was a former player for Al Ahly Bank Club and later moved to Zed Club, but he did not complete his journey in the fields before his life ended in an incident that caused widespread shock in Egypt.
The incident brings attention back to the details of the crime and the moments that preceded it, while the responsibility of determining its circumstances and the roles attributed to the accused remains the jurisdiction of the investigative authorities.
