أكدت مصادر لبنانية مطلعة لـ«عكاظ» أن ما سرّبه الإعلام الإسرائيلي عن استعدادات عسكرية لسيناريو تدخل حزب الله في حال تجدد المواجهة مع إيران، لا يمكن فصله عن سلسلة رسائل التهديد والتحذير التي يتلقاها لبنان، وكان آخرها قبل فترة قصيرة.
وبحسب المصادر، تتمحور إحدى هذه الرسائل حول محاولة إسرائيل استثمار إعلان حزب الله تبنّيه شحنة المتفجرات التي كان يُفترض نقلها إلى الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت، واعتبارها جزءاً من مساعيه لإعادة بناء قدراته العسكرية واستهداف مواقع إسرائيلية.
وأوضحت المصادر أن ما نُقل عن مسؤولين إسرائيليين في هذا السياق يشير إلى أن تل أبيب باتت ترى في إعلان الحزب مبرراً يمكن الاستناد إليه للعودة إلى استهداف الضاحية الجنوبية، والعمل في الوقت نفسه على إقناع الولايات المتحدة بالرواية الإسرائيلية. ولم يتأخر المسؤولون الإسرائيليون، وفق المصادر، في الكشف عن طبيعة الأهداف والسيناريوات المطروحة، والتي تشمل توسيع نطاق الاحتلال والتقدم باتجاه النبطية وصور، وصولاً إلى التهجير حتى نهر الأولي.
وأضافت المصادر أن هذه المعطيات مجتمعة تمهّد لإسقاط الضمانات التي تحمي بيروت والضاحية الجنوبية، في وقت لا تتوافر فيه أي ضمانات تحول دون اتساع رقعة الحرب إلى لبنان إذا اندلعت مواجهة أوسع في المنطقة، كما لا توجد ضمانات بعدم انخراط حزب الله فيها. وأشارت إلى أن الأمر نفسه ينسحب على مسار المفاوضات الإيرانية – الأمريكية، في ظل غياب ضمانات جديةً حتى الآن، وسعي الطرفين إلى الحصول على ضمانات وجهات ضامنة وموثوقة تكفل تنفيذ أي اتفاق قد يتم التوصل إليه، وسط أزمة ثقة عميقة بين الولايات المتحدة من جهة وإيران من جهة أخرى.
وكانت صحيفة معاريف كشفت عن استعدادات عسكرية لسيناريو تدخل حزب الله في حال تجدد المواجهة مع إيران، تتضمن خططاً للتقدم نحو صور وصيدا والنبطية واستخدام قوة نارية كثيفةً، إضافة إلى احتمال توسيع الضربات على الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت وفرض حصار بحري على مرفأي بيروت وطرابلس.
ويضاف إلى ذلك الغموض السياسي الذي أفرزته الانتخابات الإسرائيلية، بعدما انتهت دون غالبية حاسمة تتيح لأي معسكر تشكيل الحكومة منفرداً، بالتزامن مع توجه الأنظار غداً الثلاثاء إلى الانتخابات النصفية الأمريكية وما ستفرزه من توازنات داخل الكونغرس في النصف الثاني من ولاية الرئيس دونالد ترمب.
وبين تعثر تشكيل الحكومة الإسرائيلية، وترقب نتائج صناديق الاقتراع الأمريكية، ومصير المفاوضات مع إيران، يدخل لبنان مرحلةً دقيقةً تبقى فيها احتمالات التصعيد مرتبطة بمسارات إقليمية ودولية لا يملك قرارها.
Informed Lebanese sources confirmed to “Okaz” that what the Israeli media leaked about military preparations for a scenario involving Hezbollah’s intervention in the event of renewed confrontation with Iran cannot be separated from a series of threatening and warning messages that Lebanon has been receiving, the latest of which was not long ago.
According to the sources, one of these messages revolves around Israel’s attempt to exploit Hezbollah’s announcement of its adoption of the shipment of explosives that was supposed to be transported to the southern suburbs of Beirut, considering it part of its efforts to rebuild its military capabilities and target Israeli sites.
The sources clarified that what was conveyed by Israeli officials in this context indicates that Tel Aviv now sees the party’s announcement as a justification that can be relied upon to return to targeting the southern suburbs, while simultaneously working to convince the United States of the Israeli narrative. According to the sources, Israeli officials did not delay in revealing the nature of the targets and proposed scenarios, which include expanding the scope of occupation and advancing towards Nabatieh and Tyre, reaching the point of displacement up to the Awali River.
The sources added that these combined data pave the way for the undermining of the guarantees that protect Beirut and the southern suburbs, at a time when there are no guarantees to prevent the expansion of the war into Lebanon if a wider confrontation breaks out in the region, nor are there guarantees against Hezbollah’s involvement in it. They pointed out that the same applies to the course of Iranian-American negotiations, in light of the absence of serious guarantees so far, and both parties’ efforts to obtain guarantees from reliable guarantors that ensure the implementation of any agreement that may be reached, amidst a deep crisis of trust between the United States on one side and Iran on the other.
The Ma’ariv newspaper revealed military preparations for a scenario involving Hezbollah’s intervention in the event of renewed confrontation with Iran, which includes plans to advance towards Tyre, Sidon, and Nabatieh, and to use heavy firepower, in addition to the possibility of expanding strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and imposing a naval blockade on the ports of Beirut and Tripoli.
Additionally, there is the political ambiguity resulting from the Israeli elections, which ended without a decisive majority allowing any camp to form the government alone, coinciding with attention turning tomorrow, Tuesday, to the American midterm elections and what they will yield in terms of balances within Congress in the second half of President Donald Trump’s term.
Amid the stalled formation of the Israeli government, the anticipation of the results of the American ballots, and the fate of negotiations with Iran, Lebanon enters a delicate phase where the possibilities of escalation remain linked to regional and international pathways over which it has no control.
