أدانت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي -باستنكارٍ شديدٍ- اعتداءاتِ المُستوطنين الإسرائيليين المُتواصلة ضدّ الفلسطينيين في الضفّة الغربية المُحتلّة، التي كان آخرها الاعتداءات على المسجد الكبير في قرية «جلجليا»، ومسجد الفاروق شمال «رام الله».
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة، ندَّد الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى بمَوْجاتِ العُنف المُتصاعِد، الذي يُمارسُه المستوطنون ضدَّ الفلسطينيّين وممتلكاتهم ومقدّساتهم في الضفّة الغربية المُحتلَّة، والذي يمثّلُ انتهاكًا جسيمًا لحُرمة دُور العبادة، وكافّة القوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية، ويُقوِّضُ جهودَ السلام، ويهدّد الأمنَ والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وشدّد العيسى على الضرورةِ المُلِحّة لاضطلاع المجتمع الدوليّ بمسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية، باتخاذ موقفٍ عاجلٍ وجدِّيٍّ تجاه هذه الاعتداءات، مثمّنًا مضامينَ البيان الصادر -في هذا الشأن- من السعودية، والأردن، والإمارات، وقطر، وإندونيسيا، وباكستان، ومصر، وتركيا؛ للتصدّي لكافّة الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية في الأرض الفلسطينية المُحتلّة، وتضامُنهم الراسخ مع الشعب الفلسطيني وحماية مُقدّراته ومُقدَّساته، ودعْمهم الثابت لحقوقه الوطنية المشروعة، وفي مقدّمتها: حقُّه في إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المُستقِلَّة ذات السيادة، وفق مسار حلِّ الدولتين والقرارات الدولية ذات الصِّلة.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the ongoing assaults by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the latest of which were the attacks on the grand mosque in the village of “Jaljulia” and the Al-Farooq Mosque north of “Ramallah”.
In a statement from the League’s General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced the escalating waves of violence perpetrated by settlers against Palestinians, their properties, and their sanctities in the occupied West Bank, which represent a grave violation of the sanctity of places of worship, as well as all international and humanitarian laws and norms. This undermines peace efforts and threatens security and stability in the region.
Al-Issa emphasized the urgent necessity for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by taking an immediate and serious stance towards these assaults, appreciating the contents of the statement issued in this regard by Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey; to confront all Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, their steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people, and the protection of their resources and sanctities, as well as their unwavering support for their legitimate national rights, foremost among which is their right to establish an independent, sovereign Palestinian state, in accordance with the two-state solution and relevant international resolutions.
