ضرب زلزال بلغت قوته 6 درجات على مقياس ريختر اليوم، منطقة قبالة الساحل الجنوبي لجزيرة هونشو اليابانية.
وذكرت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية في بيان، أن الزلزال وقع على بعد نحو 58 كيلومترًا جنوب شرق مدينة شيما، وعلى عمق 352.4 كيلومترًا تحت سطح الأرض.
ولم ترد حتى الآن معلومات عن وقوع إصابات أو أضرار مادية جراء الزلزال، ولم تصدر تحذيرات من موجات مد عاتية (تسونامي).
A 6-magnitude earthquake struck today off the southern coast of Japan’s Honshu Island.
The U.S. Geological Survey stated in a report that the earthquake occurred approximately 58 kilometers southeast of the city of Shima, at a depth of 352.4 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.
No information has yet been reported regarding injuries or material damage from the earthquake, and no tsunami warnings have been issued.
