ألقت قوات الأمن السورية القبض على خلية إرهابية في دير الزور تابعة لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي، مؤلفة من شخصين، إثر متابعة استخباراتية دقيقة.
وأفادت قوى الأمن الداخلي السوري -وفقاً للوكالة العربية السورية للأنباء- أن التحقيقات بيّنت تورط الموقوفَين في تنفيذ سلسلة عمليات اغتيال بالمحافظة، كان آخرها استهداف عنصر تابع لوزارة الدفاع بطلق ناري بالقرب من جامع الرشيد في مدينة الميادين، مشيرة إلى أن العملية أسفرت عن مصادرة أسلحة وذخائر عُثر عليها داخل مخبأ الخلية، فيما تتابع الجهات المختصة تحقيقاتها مع الإرهابيين لكشف ارتباطاتهم تمهيداً لتقديمهم للعدالة.
وكان جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، بالتعاون مع قوى الأمن الداخلي، أحبط في السادس عشر من الشهر الماضي مخططاً لاستهداف دورية للشرطة في محافظة ريف دمشق، كانت خلية تابعة لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي تستعد لتنفيذه.
The Syrian security forces arrested a terrorist cell in Deir ez-Zor affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organization, consisting of two individuals, following precise intelligence monitoring.
The Syrian Internal Security Forces reported – according to the Syrian Arab News Agency – that investigations revealed the involvement of the detainees in carrying out a series of assassination operations in the governorate, the latest of which was the targeting of a member of the Ministry of Defense with gunfire near Al-Rashid Mosque in the city of Al-Mayadeen, noting that the operation resulted in the confiscation of weapons and ammunition found inside the cell’s hideout, while the relevant authorities continue their investigations with the terrorists to uncover their connections in preparation for bringing them to justice.
The General Intelligence Agency, in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces, thwarted on the sixteenth of last month a plan to target a police patrol in the Rural Damascus governorate, which a cell affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organization was preparing to execute.
