لم يكن العارض الصحي الذي ألم بالدكتور هجاد بن عمر غرم الله الغامدي في القاهرة خبراً عابراً لدى من عرفوه وعملوا معه. فقد أعاد إلى الذاكرة سنوات طويلة من المواقف والعلاقات الإنسانية وأيقظ مشاعر المحبة والوفاء لرجل غادر منصبه منذ سنوات لكنه ظل حاضراً في ذاكرة زملائه ومحبيه.
عرفت الباحة هجاد الغامدي معلما وقائدا تربويا ورجلا قريبا من الناس حاضرا في مناسباتهم ومشاركا في شؤونهم. بدأ رحلته مع التعليم عام 1381هـ وتدرج في مسؤولياته حتى تولى الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمنطقة الباحة بين عامي 1419 و1423هـ. وامتد عطاؤه إلى العمل الاجتماعي والخيري وعضوية مجلس المنطقة لثلاث دورات. غير أن ما بقي من تلك المسيرة لم يكن المناصب وحدها بل ما تركه من مودة وتقدير في نفوس من عرفوه وعملوا معه.
وما كتبه محبوه في منصة إكس من دعوات وكلمات وفاء يعكس مكانة الرجل ورصيده الإنساني الذي صنعته سنوات من العشرة والمواقف الطيبة. فقد ظلت علاقاته ممتدة بعد مغادرته العمل الرسمي وظل التواصل مع زملائه وأصدقائه جزءا من حياته الاجتماعية.
وفي القاهرة ظهرت صورة أخرى من الوفاء. فقد حرص عدد من رجالات غامد المقيمين هناك على زيارته والجلوس إلى جواره والاطمئنان عليه بصورة مستمرة. لم تمنعهم مشاغل الحياة من الحضور ومؤانسته في ظرفه الصحي. كانوا يحملون إليه دفء الوطن وألفة المجالس في موقف إنساني يعكس عمق العلاقات التي تجمعهم به. ولم يكن حضورهم مجرد واجب اجتماعي بل تعبيرا عن محبة صادقة لرجل احتفظ بمكانته بينهم رغم مرور السنوات.
ولعل هذا المشهد يعيد التذكير بقيمة العلاقات الإنسانية التي تبقى بعد انتهاء المسؤوليات الرسمية. فالمواقف الطيبة لا تنتهي بانتهاء العمل ولا تتوقف عند حدود المكان بل تظهر آثارها حين يحتاج الإنسان إلى قرب من عرفوه وشاركوه سنوات من حياته.
ومن القاهرة إلى الباحة وسائر مدن المملكة تتواصل الدعوات بأن يمن الله على أبي عمر بالشفاء والعافية وأن يعيده إلى أهله ومحبيه سالما معافى.
سلامتك يا أبا عمر.. ففي القاهرة لم تكن وحيدا فقد أحاط بك محبوك بحضورهم ووفائهم وفي السعودية كانت قلوب من عرفوك معك بالدعاء.
The health issue that befell Dr. Hjad bin Omar Gharam Allah Al-Ghamdi in Cairo was not a fleeting news item for those who knew him and worked with him. It brought back long years of memories filled with human interactions and awakened feelings of love and loyalty for a man who left his position years ago but remained present in the memories of his colleagues and admirers.
The region of Al-Baha knew Hjad Al-Ghamdi as a teacher, an educational leader, and a man close to the people, present at their events and participating in their affairs. He began his journey in education in the year 1381 AH and progressed through his responsibilities until he assumed the position of General Director of Education in the Al-Baha region between the years 1419 and 1423 AH. His contributions extended to social and charitable work and membership in the regional council for three terms. However, what remains from that journey is not just the positions he held but the affection and appreciation he left in the hearts of those who knew him and worked with him.
What his admirers wrote on the X platform in terms of prayers and words of loyalty reflects the man’s stature and the human legacy he built over years of companionship and good deeds. His relationships continued even after he left official work, and maintaining contact with his colleagues and friends remained a part of his social life.
In Cairo, another image of loyalty emerged. A number of prominent figures from the Ghamid community residing there made it a point to visit him, sit by his side, and check on him regularly. Life’s demands did not prevent them from being present and accompanying him during his health circumstances. They brought him the warmth of home and the familiarity of gatherings in a human gesture that reflects the depth of the relationships that bind them to him. Their presence was not merely a social obligation but a sincere expression of love for a man who has maintained his status among them despite the passage of years.
This scene perhaps serves as a reminder of the value of human relationships that endure beyond the end of official responsibilities. Good deeds do not cease with the end of work nor are they confined to a specific place; their effects become evident when a person needs the closeness of those they have known and shared years of their life with.
From Cairo to Al-Baha and all cities of the Kingdom, prayers continue that Allah grants Abu Omar healing and wellness and returns him to his family and loved ones safe and sound.
