أكد وزير الطاقة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان أن المملكة أثبتت قدرتها على المحافظة على دورها كمصدر موثوق ومستقر للطاقة رغم التحديات الجيوسياسية والتقلبات التي شهدتها أسواق الطاقة العالمية، مشدداً على أن السعودية ستبقى «مصدراً صلباً للطاقة تحت أي ظرف».
وخلال مشاركته في منتدى سان بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي في روسيا، أوضح الوزير أن الظروف الحالية، رغم صعوبتها، شكلت فرصة لإظهار قوة المملكة وكفاءة بنيتها التحتية وقدرتها على ضمان استمرار الإمدادات.
«هرمز» يختبر مرونة الإمدادات السعودية
وأشار الأمير عبدالعزيز إلى أن اضطرابات الملاحة في مضيق هرمز ألقت بظلالها على حركة ناقلات النفط العالمية، باعتبار المضيق ممراً رئيسياً لجزء كبير من إمدادات النفط الدولية، ما دفع بعض الدول المنتجة إلى تقليص إنتاجها.
وأكد أن السعودية نجحت في تجاوز هذه التحديات عبر الاعتماد على مسارات بديلة، من خلال نقل صادراتها النفطية إلى ميناء ينبع على البحر الأحمر عبر خط أنابيب «شرق – غرب»، ما ضمن استمرار تدفق الإمدادات إلى الأسواق العالمية دون انقطاع.
العالم بحاجة إلى «كل جزيء وكل إلكترون»
وشدد وزير الطاقة على أن الطلب العالمي على الطاقة لا يزال مرتفعاً، مؤكداً أن العالم يحتاج إلى «كل جزيء وكل إلكترون» من مصادر الطاقة المختلفة، وأن أمن الطاقة يظل الركيزة الأساسية لضمان استقرار الإمدادات وتحقيق الاستدامة والقدرة على تحمل التكاليف.
30 اتفاقية جديدة بين الرياض وموسكو
وفي ملف العلاقات السعودية الروسية، كشف الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان أن منتدى سان بطرسبرغ سيشهد توقيع 30 اتفاقية جديدة في قطاعات التعليم والطاقة والسياحة والصناعة، في خطوة تعكس تنامي الشراكة بين البلدين.
ولفت إلى أن الرياض وموسكو وقعتا قبل أشهر نحو 80 اتفاقية متنوعة بين الجهات الحكومية وشركات القطاع الخاص، فيما أسفرت اجتماعات اللجنة المشتركة عن توقيع عشرات الاتفاقيات الاقتصادية والاستثمارية.
رحلات مباشرة وإعفاء من التأشيرات
وأوضح الوزير أن تشغيل الرحلات الجوية المباشرة بين السعودية وروسيا، إلى جانب الإعفاء المتبادل من التأشيرات، أسهما في تعزيز حركة السياحة والتبادل التجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين، وفتحا آفاقاً أوسع أمام القطاع الخاص للاستفادة من الفرص المتاحة في السوقين.
Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman confirmed that the Kingdom has proven its ability to maintain its role as a reliable and stable energy source despite the geopolitical challenges and fluctuations witnessed in global energy markets, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia will remain a “solid source of energy under any circumstances.”
During his participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia, the minister explained that the current conditions, despite their difficulties, have presented an opportunity to showcase the strength of the Kingdom, the efficiency of its infrastructure, and its ability to ensure the continuity of supplies.
“Hormuz” Tests the Resilience of Saudi Supplies
Prince Abdulaziz pointed out that disruptions in navigation in the Strait of Hormuz have cast a shadow over the movement of global oil tankers, considering the strait a major passage for a large portion of international oil supplies, which has led some producing countries to reduce their output.
He confirmed that Saudi Arabia has successfully overcome these challenges by relying on alternative routes, by transferring its oil exports to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea via the “East-West” pipeline, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of supplies to global markets.
The World Needs “Every Molecule and Every Electron”
The Energy Minister stressed that global demand for energy remains high, affirming that the world needs “every molecule and every electron” from various energy sources, and that energy security remains the fundamental pillar to ensure supply stability and achieve sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
30 New Agreements Between Riyadh and Moscow
Regarding Saudi-Russian relations, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman revealed that the St. Petersburg Forum will witness the signing of 30 new agreements in the sectors of education, energy, tourism, and industry, in a move that reflects the growing partnership between the two countries.
He noted that Riyadh and Moscow signed about 80 diverse agreements between government entities and private sector companies a few months ago, while meetings of the joint committee resulted in the signing of dozens of economic and investment agreements.
Direct Flights and Visa Exemptions
The minister explained that the operation of direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Russia, along with mutual visa exemptions, has contributed to enhancing tourism and trade exchange between the two countries, opening wider horizons for the private sector to benefit from the available opportunities in both markets.
