قادت مكالمة هاتفية إلى كشف حقيقة واقعة أثارت جدلاً واسعاً في مصر، بعدما ظهر سائق ميكروباص في مقطع فيديو متداول وهو يترك رجلاً على جانب الطريق الدائري بمحافظة الجيزة؛ ما دفع البعض للاشتباه في وجود شبهة جنائية، قبل أن تكشف التحريات تفاصيل مختلفة تماماً.
وتعود الواقعة إلى بلاغ تلقته الأجهزة الأمنية من هيئة الإسعاف يُفيد بوجود شخص في حالة صحية حرجة أعلى الطريق الدائري بدائرة قسم شرطة الأهرام. وعلى الفور انتقلت قوات الأمن وفرق الإسعاف إلى الموقع، حيث عُثر على الرجل متوفىً.
وبالفحص، تبين أن المتوفى يعمل مدير حسابات بإحدى الشركات ويقيم في نطاق القسم، كما عُثر بحوزته على متعلقاته الشخصية كاملة، الأمر الذي ساعد في تحديد هويته وإخطار أسرته.
وأظهرت التحريات أن الرجل شعر بإعياء مفاجئ عقب استقلاله سيارة ميكروباص؛ وهي المركبة التي ظهر قائدها في الفيديو المتداول، ما أثار شبهات واسعة حوله على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
غير أن خيط الحقيقة برز من خلال إفادات خطيب ابنة المتوفى، الذي أكد أن الأسرة تلقت اتصالاً من سائق الميكروباص أخبرهم خلاله بتعرُّض والد الفتاة لوعكة صحية، موضحاً أنه طلب منه التواصل مع أسرته وإبلاغهم بمكان وجوده، قبل أن يصرّ المتوفى على النزول من السيارة وعدم استكمال الرحلة. كما أكدت ابنة المتوفى صحة تلك الرواية، مشيرةً إلى أن والدها كان يعاني تضخماً في عضلة القلب، وأنها لم تتهم أي شخص بالتسبب في وفاته.
وأنهى التقرير الطبي الجدل الدائر بشأن الواقعة، بعدما أكد عدم وجود شبهة جنائية وراء الوفاة، ليتضح أن الفيديو المتداول لم يوثق جريمة كما اعتقد البعض، بل لحظات سبقت وفاة طبيعية تعرض لها الرجل إثر حالته الصحية.
واتخذت الجهات المختصة الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، فيما باشرت النيابة العامة التحقيقات لاستكمال الفحص وإغلاق ملف الواقعة.
A phone call led to the revelation of the truth behind an incident that sparked widespread controversy in Egypt, after a microbus driver appeared in a circulated video leaving a man on the side of the ring road in Giza Governorate; this raised suspicions of possible criminal activity, before investigations revealed completely different details.
The incident dates back to a report received by security agencies from the ambulance authority indicating that there was a person in critical health condition on the ring road within the jurisdiction of the Al-Ahram police station. Immediately, security forces and ambulance teams rushed to the scene, where the man was found deceased.
Upon examination, it was found that the deceased worked as an accounts manager at a company and resided within the precinct of the police station. His personal belongings were found intact, which helped identify him and notify his family.
Investigations revealed that the man felt sudden illness after getting into a microbus; this was the vehicle whose driver appeared in the circulated video, raising widespread suspicions about him on social media.
However, the thread of truth emerged through the statements of the fiancé of the deceased’s daughter, who confirmed that the family received a call from the microbus driver informing them that the girl’s father had suffered a health crisis, explaining that he asked him to contact his family and inform them of his location, before the deceased insisted on getting out of the vehicle and not continuing the journey. The deceased’s daughter also confirmed this account, noting that her father had been suffering from an enlarged heart, and that she did not accuse anyone of causing his death.
The medical report settled the ongoing debate regarding the incident, confirming that there was no suspicion of criminal activity behind the death, clarifying that the circulated video did not document a crime as some had believed, but rather moments preceding a natural death that the man experienced due to his health condition.
The relevant authorities took the necessary legal actions, while the public prosecution began investigations to complete the examination and close the case file.
