لقي 11 شخصًا مصرعهم وأصيب 27 آخرون، الأحد، إثر انقلاب حافلة عقب اصطدامها بشاحنة غربي تركيا.
ووقع الحادث بالقرب من مدخل الطريق السريع الرابط بين مدينة بورصة ومدينة إزمير الساحلية، وفق ما أعلنته محافظة مانيسا عبر حسابها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بحسب وكالة «فرانس برس».
من جانبه، أعلن وزير الداخلية التركي مصطفى تشيفتشي إرسال فرق الإنقاذ إلى موقع الحادث فور وقوعه، مؤكدًا متابعة التطورات بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية.
وأظهرت صور نشرتها وسائل إعلام محلية الحافلة مقلوبة فوق الحواجز الأمنية على الطريق، مع تحطم زجاجها الأمامي.
Eleven people were killed and 27 others were injured on Sunday when a bus overturned after colliding with a truck in western Turkey.
The accident occurred near the entrance of the highway connecting the city of Bursa to the coastal city of Izmir, according to a statement from the Manisa governorate on its social media accounts, as reported by the French news agency “AFP”.
For his part, Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Cahit Yılmaz announced the dispatch of rescue teams to the accident site immediately after it occurred, confirming that developments were being monitored in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Images published by local media showed the bus overturned on the security barriers of the road, with its front glass shattered.
