كشف مسؤولون أمريكيون أن الرئيس دونالد ترمب يفكر جديا في استئناف العمليات القتالية ضد إيران، بحسب ما نقلت شبكة «سي إن إن»، اليوم (الثلاثاء).
تشكيك في مواقف إيران
وحذر المسؤولون عقب اجتماع مع مجلس الأمن القومي إثر تلقي الرد الإيراني على المقترح الأمريكي لإنهاء الحرب، من أن صبر الرئيس ترمب ينفد.
وأكدت مصادر مطلعة على المناقشات، أن الرئيس بات أقل صبراً تجاه استمرار إغلاق مضيق هرمز، وما يراه من انقسامات داخل القيادة الإيرانية تعيق قدرتها على تقديم تنازلات جوهرية في المحادثات النووية.
وأضافت المصادر أن الرد الإيراني الأخير الذي وصفه ترمب بأنه «غير مقبول تماماً» و«غبي»، دفع عدداً من المسؤولين إلى التشكيك في ما إذا كانت طهران مستعدة لاتخاذ موقف تفاوضي جاد.
ولفتت إلى وجود معسكرات مختلفة داخل الإدارة الأمريكية قدمت مقاربات متباينة بشأن كيفية المضي قدماً. فبعضهم، ومن بينهم مسؤولون في البنتاغون، دعوا إلى نهج أكثر تشدداً للضغط على إيران للجلوس إلى طاولة المفاوضات، بما في ذلك شن ضربات محددة تزيد من إضعاف موقفها. في المقابل، لا يزال آخرون يدفعون باتجاه منح المسار الدبلوماسي فرصة حقيقية.
ترمب يشعر بالإحباط
وأبدى الكثيرون في محيط ترمب رغبتهم في أن يكون الوسطاء الباكستانيون أكثر صراحة ومباشرة في تواصلهم مع الإيرانيين، إذ شكك بعض مستشاري الرئيس الأمريكي منذ فترة في ما إذا كانت الرسائل تنقل بشكل حازم استياءه من مسار المحادثات، كما عبّر عنه علناً.
وقال مصدران إن بعض مسؤولي الإدارة يعتقدون أيضاً أن باكستان تنقل للولايات المتحدة صورة أكثر إيجابية عن الموقف الإيراني مما يعكسه الواقع. وأفاد مسؤول إقليمي، أمس الإثنين، بأن هناك تحركاً مكثفاً من دول المنطقة ومن باكستان لإيصال رسالة إلى الإيرانيين مفادها بأن ترمب يشعر بالإحباط وأن هذه هي الفرصة الأخيرة لهم للانخراط بجدية في الدبلوماسية.
ولفت المسؤول إلى أن الولايات المتحدة وإيران تعملان وفق مستويات مختلفة من التحمل وجداول زمنية متباينة في نهجهما تجاه المفاوضات، مشيراً إلى أن طهران صمدت أمام ضغوط اقتصادية لعقود.
لا قرار كبير قبل زيارة الصين
وكان ترمب اجتمع مجدداً مع فريقه للأمن القومي في البيت الأبيض، الإثنين لبحث الخيارات المستقبلية. واستبعدت مصادر مطلعة على المحادثات عدم اتخاذ قرار كبير بشأن المسار القادم قبل مغادرة ترمب إلى الصين، المقررة بعد ظهر اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إذ يعول الرئيس الأمريكي الذي من المرتقب أن يصل بكين غداً (الأربعاء)، على دور صيني من أجل الضغط على طهران بهدف تليين موقفها ودفعها إلى تقديم تنازلات تنهي الحرب التي تفجرت في 28 فبراير الماضي.
في حين تواصل باكستان التي لعبت منذ أسابيع دوراً محورياً في محاولة تقريب وجهات النظر مساعي الوساطة بين الجانبين.

Doubts About Iran’s Positions
Officials warned after a meeting with the National Security Council following the receipt of Iran’s response to the U.S. proposal to end the war, that President Trump’s patience is running thin.
Informed sources on the discussions confirmed that the president has become less patient regarding the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and what he perceives as divisions within the Iranian leadership that hinder its ability to make substantial concessions in the nuclear talks.
The sources added that the recent Iranian response, which Trump described as “completely unacceptable” and “stupid,” led several officials to question whether Tehran is prepared to take a serious negotiating stance.
They noted that there are different camps within the U.S. administration that have presented varying approaches on how to move forward. Some, including officials at the Pentagon, have called for a more hardline approach to pressure Iran to come to the negotiating table, including launching targeted strikes to further weaken its position. In contrast, others continue to advocate for giving the diplomatic track a real chance.
Trump Feels Frustrated
Many around Trump have expressed a desire for Pakistani mediators to be more candid and direct in their communications with the Iranians, as some of the U.S. president’s advisors have questioned whether the messages are firmly conveying his dissatisfaction with the course of the talks, as he has publicly expressed.
Two sources said that some administration officials also believe that Pakistan is conveying a more positive image of the Iranian position to the United States than what reality reflects. A regional official reported yesterday (Monday) that there is an intensified effort from regional countries and Pakistan to send a message to the Iranians that Trump feels frustrated and that this is their last opportunity to engage seriously in diplomacy.
The official pointed out that the U.S. and Iran are operating under different levels of tolerance and varying timelines in their approaches to negotiations, noting that Tehran has withstood economic pressures for decades.
No Major Decision Before China Visit
Trump met again with his national security team at the White House on Monday to discuss future options. Sources familiar with the talks ruled out any major decision regarding the next course before Trump departs for China, scheduled for this afternoon (Tuesday), as the U.S. president, who is expected to arrive in Beijing tomorrow (Wednesday), is counting on a Chinese role to pressure Tehran to soften its position and push it to make concessions to end the war that erupted on February 28.
Meanwhile, Pakistan, which has played a pivotal role in recent weeks in trying to bridge the gaps between the two sides, continues its mediation efforts.
