تأكيدًا لمسار الريادة والتميز، حقّق مستشفى الدكتور سليمان فقيه بجدة إنجازًا جديدًا بحصوله على شهادة معايير سلامة المرضى بالمستوى الذهبي في الدورة الأولى من البرنامج، ليصبح أول مستشفى في المملكة العربية السعودية والوحيد الذي نال هذه الشهادة ضمن هذه الدورة التي يُشرف عليها المركز السعودي لسلامة المرضى، وهو الجهة الوطنية المعنية بتعزيز سلامة المرضى والارتقاء بجودة الرعاية الصحية في المملكة.
ويهدف البرنامج إلى تقييم مدى التزام المنشآت الصحية بتطبيق أفضل ممارسات سلامة المرضى وفق معايير وطنية متقدمة تسهم في ترسيخ ثقافة الجودة والسلامة والتحسين المستمر، بما يدعم مستهدفات برنامج التحول الصحي ورؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030.
ويمثّل حصول مستشفى الدكتور سليمان فقيه بجدة على الشهادة بالمستوى الذهبي محطة مهمة في مسيرته نحو تعزيز جودة الرعاية الصحية وسلامة المرضى، ويؤكد التزامه بتطبيق أعلى المعايير الوطنية والعالمية في مختلف جوانب الرعاية الصحية.
وجاء هذا الإنجاز بعد نجاح المستشفى في استيفاء متطلبات ومعايير المركز السعودي لسلامة المرضى، التي شملت 10 محاور رئيسية و250 معيارًا للتقييم، حيث تضمنت عملية التقييم عددًا من المجالات الحيوية، من بينها القيادة والحوكمة، وإشراك المرضى، وسلامة وكفاءة القوى العاملة، وعمليات الرعاية السريرية، وسلامة الأدوية، والوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها، وإدارة المخاطر، وأنظمة الإبلاغ عن الحوادث والتعلم منها، وسلامة بيئة الرعاية الصحية، والتحسين المستمر للجودة.

In confirmation of its path of leadership and excellence, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Faqeeh Hospital in Jeddah has achieved a new milestone by obtaining the Gold Level Patient Safety Standards Certificate in the first cycle of the program, becoming the first hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the only one to receive this certificate in this cycle, which is supervised by the Saudi Center for Patient Safety, the national body responsible for enhancing patient safety and improving the quality of healthcare in the Kingdom.

This achievement came after the hospital successfully met the requirements and standards of the Saudi Center for Patient Safety, which included 10 main axes and 250 evaluation criteria. The evaluation process covered several vital areas, including leadership and governance, patient engagement, workforce safety and efficiency, clinical care processes, medication safety, infection prevention and control, risk management, incident reporting and learning, healthcare environment safety, and continuous quality improvement.
