The Egyptian composer Nader Nour underwent a delicate surgery on his throat, which forced him to refrain from speaking for at least two weeks based on the doctors’ instructions.
Health Issue
Nour revealed that he underwent the surgery via his personal account on “Facebook,” explaining that he finally dealt with a health issue he had been postponing for years. He wrote: “A delicate surgery on my throat that I have been ignoring for years has finally been done, and because of it, I am prohibited from speaking for at least two weeks.”
Refraining from Speaking
For her part, the media personality Amira Nour disclosed details about her brother’s health condition, writing on her “Facebook” account: “Thank God for the safety of my brother and beloved Nader Nour. He underwent a very delicate surgery on his throat. Praise and thanks to God for His kindness and generosity. Many thanks and appreciation to the great doctor Ahmed Nagm for his care, humanity, and extensive experience… I am grateful to you from the heart.”
She added: “Nader is completely forbidden from speaking for two weeks. May God complete your healing well, Nader, and may you recover safely.”
Collaboration with the Star
This health crisis comes after a period that saw Nader Nour return to the artistic scene, following the resumption of his collaboration with the star Amr Diab after a hiatus of nearly twenty years, through the song “Jeetlak” in the album “Habaitak,” a step that the composer described as one of the most important milestones in his artistic journey.
Nader Nour had expressed his great happiness with this return through a message he posted on his official accounts, confirming that the song represents for him more than just a musical collaboration, but rather a new beginning in his musical career.
In his message, he said: “Today is the most important day in my journey… (Jeetlak) is not just a song; it is, for me, a new birth certificate that has allowed me to breathe again.”
