أنهت الجهات العاملة بمكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة تنفيذ المرحلة الثانية من مشروع دورات المياه ذات الطابقين في مشعر منى، ضمن خططها الإستراتيجية لتعزيز كفاءة البنية التحتية الصحية وتطوير المرافق الخدمية بما يواكب احتياجات ضيوف الرحمن للاستفادة منها خلال موسم حج هذا العام.
وتشمل المرحلة الحالية استبدال مجمعات دورات المياه القائمة ذات الدور الواحد بـ18 مجمعاً حديثاً مكوناً من طابقين في منطقة الشعيبين، لتضاف إلى 61 مجمعاً تم إنجازها وتطويرها خلال موسم 1446، ليصل إجمالي المجمعات المطورة إلى 79 مجمعاً، تضم 7,838 دورة مياه، باستفادة 4 أضعاف عن العام الماضي، وخفض نسبة الانتظار 75%، مع الحفاظ على مساحة تسكين الحجاج.
ويهدف المشروع بشكل أساسي إلى مضاعفة الطاقة الاستيعابية للمرافق الصحية بما يتناسب مع أعداد الحجاج، ما يسهم في تقليل فترات الانتظار والضغط على المرافق القائمة، وضمان تقديم خدمات ذات جودة عالية تتسم بالنظافة والاستدامة.
The authorities working in Mecca and the holy sites have completed the second phase of the two-story restroom project in Mina, as part of their strategic plans to enhance the efficiency of health infrastructure and develop service facilities to meet the needs of the guests of Allah during this year’s Hajj season.
The current phase includes replacing the existing single-story restroom complexes with 18 modern two-story complexes in the Al-Shu’aybain area, adding to the 61 complexes that were completed and developed during the 1446 season, bringing the total number of developed complexes to 79, which include 7,838 restrooms, benefiting four times more than last year, and reducing the waiting time by 75%, while maintaining the accommodation space for pilgrims.
The project primarily aims to double the capacity of health facilities in line with the number of pilgrims, which contributes to reducing waiting times and pressure on existing facilities, and ensuring the provision of high-quality services characterized by cleanliness and sustainability.
