التقى نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد بن عبدالكريم الخريجي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، الشيخ شخبوط بن نهيان آل نهيان وزير الدولة بالخارجية الإماراتية، وذلك على هامش الاجتماع التشاوري السادس بشأن تعزيز تنسيق مبادرات وجهود السلام في السودان، المنعقد في مدينة جنيف السويسرية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية، وبحث مستجدات الأوضاع الراهنة في السودان والجهود المبذولة بشأنها، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة المستجدات الإقليمية والدولية.
حضر اللقاء المندوب الدائم للمملكة لدى الأمم المتحدة في جنيف السفير عبدالمحسن بن خثيلة.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, met today (Wednesday) with Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the UAE, on the sidelines of the sixth consultative meeting on enhancing the coordination of peace initiatives and efforts in Sudan, held in the Swiss city of Geneva.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the current situation in Sudan and the efforts being made regarding it, in addition to discussing regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Abdul Mohsen bin Khutaila.
