أكد نائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي ألكسندر نوفاك أن الصراع الدائر في الشرق الأوسط يقود إلى تحولات جوهرية قد تفضي إلى إعادة تشكيل سلاسل الإمداد والمسارات اللوجستية، فضلاً عن البحث عن مصادر جديدة للطاقة.
وأوضح نوفاك، خلال مشاركته في منتدى سانت بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي، أن تراكم العوامل الناتجة عن الأوضاع الحالية في المنطقة يرفع من مستوى التحديات، وقد يجعلها حدثاً أكثر تأثيراً على قطاع الطاقة وقطاعات اقتصادية أخرى، وفقا لـ«انترفاكس» الروسية.
وأشار إلى أنه توصل، خلال نقاشاته مع وزير الطاقة السعودي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان، إلى أن التوقعات المتعلقة بالطلب على النفط باتت غير واضحة، مؤكداً أن التقديرات التي كانت مطروحة قبل عدة سنوات تحتاج اليوم إلى مراجعات جذرية في ظل المتغيرات الراهنة.
وأضاف أن تحالف «أوبك بلس» يمتلك في الوقت الحالي أكثر من أي وقت مضى القدرة على تقييم التطورات واتخاذ القرارات المناسبة بما يسهم في الحد من تداعيات الأوضاع القائمة وتحقيق التوازن في الأسواق.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak confirmed that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East is leading to fundamental transformations that may result in the reshaping of supply chains and logistical routes, as well as the search for new energy sources.
Novak explained, during his participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, that the accumulation of factors resulting from the current situation in the region raises the level of challenges and may make it a more impactful event on the energy sector and other economic sectors, according to Russian news agency “Interfax.”
He pointed out that during his discussions with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, he concluded that the forecasts regarding oil demand have become unclear, emphasizing that the estimates that were proposed several years ago now require radical revisions in light of the current changes.
He added that the “OPEC Plus” alliance currently has more than ever the ability to assess developments and make appropriate decisions that contribute to mitigating the repercussions of the existing situation and achieving balance in the markets.
