
وصف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الهجوم الحوثي الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي في الرياض بأنه «أمر فظيع وغير مقبول»، مؤكداً في تصريحات للصحفيين، السبت، رفضه لما حدث.
من جانبه، أدان وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو بشدة الهجمات الحوثية التي استهدفت السعودية خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، ومن بينها الاعتداء على مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض، السبت، الذي أسفر عن وفاة 12 شخصاً، بينهم مواطن أمريكي.
وقال روبيو عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «تظهر هذه الهجمات المشينة استخفافاً صارخاً بأرواح المدنيين الأبرياء، ويجب أن تتوقف فوراً».
وأعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني السعودية أن الاعتداء الحوثي الذي استهدف المطار عصر السبت أسفر عن وفاة 12 شخصاً، بينهم 4 مواطنين سعوديين، ومقيمان من الجنسية البنغلادشية، ومقيم واحد من كل من الجنسيات الأمريكية والمصرية والأردنية والسورية والفلسطينية والسودانية، إضافة إلى إصابة 309 أشخاص.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن المصابين يتلقون الرعاية الصحية اللازمة في عدد من المستشفيات، مشيرة إلى وجود حالات حرجة بينهم، فيما يجري حصر الأضرار المادية الناجمة عن الاعتداء.
وفي السياق ذاته، أكد المتحدث الرسمي باسم قوات تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن، اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، أن الاعتداء الحوثي على إحدى صالات المسافرين بمطار الملك خالد الدولي، وما خلّفه من وفيات وإصابات بين المدنيين من المسافرين والعاملين، يرتقي إلى «جريمة حرب مكتملة الأركان» وفقاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني وقواعده العرفية.
ووصف المالكي الهجوم بأنه عمل إرهابي جبان يتنافى مع المبادئ والقيم والأخلاق، مؤكداً أن قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف سترد على الاعتداء بحزم، وبما يتوافق مع القانون الدولي الإنساني وقواعده العرفية.

For his part, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio strongly condemned the Houthi attacks that targeted Saudi Arabia in recent days, including the assault on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, which resulted in the death of 12 people, including an American citizen.
Rubio stated via his account on the “X” platform: “These disgraceful attacks demonstrate a blatant disregard for the lives of innocent civilians and must stop immediately.”
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that the Houthi attack targeting the airport on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of 12 people, including 4 Saudi citizens, 2 residents of Bangladeshi nationality, and one resident each from American, Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian, and Sudanese nationalities, in addition to injuring 309 people.
The authority clarified that the injured are receiving necessary medical care in several hospitals, noting that there are critical cases among them, while efforts are underway to assess the material damages caused by the attack.
In the same context, the official spokesperson for the Coalition Forces Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that the Houthi attack on one of the passenger terminals at King Khalid International Airport, and the resulting fatalities and injuries among civilians, including travelers and workers, constitutes a “complete war crime” according to international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
Al-Maliki described the attack as a cowardly terrorist act that contradicts principles, values, and ethics, affirming that the leadership of the coalition’s joint forces will respond to the attack firmly and in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
