أعلن وزراء خارجية دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن أمن دول مجلس التعاون كلٌّ لا يتجزأ، وأنّ أيّ اعتداءٍ على إحداها هو اعتداءٌ عليها جميعاً، معربين عن إدانتهم للاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة على البحرين.
وعقد المجلس الوزاري لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية اجتماعه في مدينة المنامة بمملكة البحرين اليوم، والذي شهد عدواناً إيرانياً آثماً جديداً، تمثّل في توجيه اعتداءات بمسيرات وصواريخ باليستية على كلٍ من مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة.
وأوضح المجلس الوزاري في بيانه الختامي اليوم، أنه يتابع هذه التطورات بأشدّ القلق والاستنكار، ويعرب باسم دول مجلس التعاون عن إدانته بأشدّ العبارات لهذه الاعتداءات الإيرانية الغاشمة على مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ويعدّها عدواناً سافراً على سيادة الدول وأمن شعوبها وسلامة أراضيها، وانتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئ حسن الجوار.
وأكد المجلس أنّ هذه الأعمال العدائية لا تخدم أيّ تفاهمٍ أو تقارب، بل تباعد بين الشعوب وتقوّض أسس الثقة وتزرع الشقاق، وتُغلق أبواب الحوار التي طالما دعت إليها دول المجلس، فالعدوان لا يبني علاقات، والترويع لا يصنع استقراراً، معرباً عن تضامنه الكامل ووقوفه الراسخ صفاً واحداً مع مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.
وشدد مجلس وزراء الخارجية لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي على أنّ أمن دول مجلس التعاون كلٌّ لا يتجزأ، وأنّ أيّ اعتداءٍ على إحداها هو اعتداءٌ عليها جميعاً، مطمئناً مواطني دوله والمقيمين على أراضيها بأنّ قدرات الدفاع المشترك ومنظومات الدفاع الجوي تتصدّى لهذه الاعتداءات بكفاءةٍ وجاهزيةٍ عالية، وأنّ قيادات دول المجلس ماضيةٌ في صون أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، وأنّ هذه الاعتداءات لن تزيد شعوب دول المجلس إلا تلاحماً وتصميماً وإصراراً على مقاومتها والتصدّي لها.
وأكد المجلس حقّ دوله الثابت والمشروع في الدفاع عن نفسها فرادى وجماعات، والردّ على هذا العدوان بكل الوسائل المشروعة، وفقاً للمادة الحادية والخمسين من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة التي تكفل الحق الطبيعي للدول في الدفاع عن أنفسها إذا اعتدت قوة مسلّحة عليها، محملاً إيران المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الأعمال وتداعياتها الخطيرة على أمن المنطقة والملاحة الدولية وإمدادات الطاقة، ويطالب بوقفها الفوري والكفّ نهائياً عن أيّ استهدافٍ لدول المجلس ومصالحها ومواطنيها.
ودعا المجلس الوزاري، مجلس الأمن والمجتمع الدولي إلى تحمّل مسؤولياتهم في إدانة هذا العدوان ومحاسبة مرتكبيه، بما يضمن احترام سيادة الدول وحفظ السلم والأمن الإقليمي والدولي.
وجدد المجلس الوزاري، تمسّك دول مجلس التعاون بخيار السلام وحُسن الجوار والحلول الدبلوماسية سبيلاً لتسوية الخلافات، ليطرح أمام الجهة المعتدية تساؤلاً جوهرياً: كيف يمكن أن تُبنى علاقات المستقبل في ظلّ استمرار هذه الاعتداءات والإصرار عليها؟ فإنّ التمادي في نهج العدوان لن يؤدي إلا إلى مزيدٍ من العزلة، فيما يبقى باب التفاهم قائماً ومفتوحاً لمن يختار لغة الحكمة وحسن الجوار.
The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries announced today (Wednesday) that the security of the GCC states is indivisible, and that any aggression against one of them is an aggression against all, expressing their condemnation of the Iranian attacks on Bahrain.
The GCC ministerial council held its meeting today in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, which witnessed a new Iranian aggression represented by attacks using drones and ballistic missiles on both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The ministerial council clarified in its final statement today that it follows these developments with the utmost concern and condemnation, expressing on behalf of the GCC countries its strongest condemnation of these brutal Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, considering them a blatant aggression against the sovereignty of the states, the security of their peoples, and the integrity of their territories, as well as a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The council affirmed that these hostile acts do not serve any understanding or rapprochement, but rather distance peoples from each other, undermine the foundations of trust, sow discord, and close the doors to dialogue that the GCC countries have long called for. Aggression does not build relationships, and intimidation does not create stability, expressing its full solidarity and steadfast support as one united front with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The GCC foreign ministers’ council emphasized that the security of the GCC states is indivisible, and that any aggression against one of them is an aggression against all, reassuring the citizens of its member states and residents on their territories that the capabilities of collective defense and air defense systems effectively and highly respond to these aggressions, and that the leaderships of the GCC countries are committed to preserving the security and stability of the region, and that these aggressions will only increase the unity, determination, and resolve of the peoples of the GCC to resist and confront them.
The council affirmed the right of its states to defend themselves individually and collectively, and to respond to this aggression by all legitimate means, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which guarantees the natural right of states to defend themselves if subjected to armed aggression, holding Iran fully responsible for these actions and their serious repercussions on the security of the region, international navigation, and energy supplies, and demanding an immediate cessation of these actions and a complete halt to any targeting of the GCC states, their interests, and their citizens.
The ministerial council called on the Security Council and the international community to assume their responsibilities in condemning this aggression and holding its perpetrators accountable, in a manner that ensures respect for the sovereignty of states and maintains regional and international peace and security.
The ministerial council reiterated the GCC countries’ commitment to the option of peace, good neighborliness, and diplomatic solutions as a means to resolve disputes, posing a fundamental question to the aggressor: How can future relations be built amid the continuation of these aggressions and insistence upon them? For the persistence in the path of aggression will only lead to further isolation, while the door to understanding remains open for those who choose the language of wisdom and good neighborliness.
