التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله ، اليوم (الجمعة)، نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير خارجية جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية السيد محمد إسحاق دار، وذلك على هامش اجتماع وزراء خارجية المجموعة الرباعية بمدينة إسطنبول التركية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية الوثيقة بين البلدين الشقيقين، وبحث مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية، وفي مقدمتها تطورات الأوضاع في اليمن، حيث جرى التأكيد على إدانة اعتداءات ميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية ومحاولاتها الجبانة في استهداف المناطق المدنية داخل المملكة.
كما ناقش الجهود الرامية إلى خفض التوتر، وضمان سلامة وحرية الملاحة البحرية في مضيقي هرمز وباب المندب، مجددَين التزام البلدين المشترك بدعم السلام والأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
Today (Friday), Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, on the sidelines of the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed the latest developments in the regional situation, particularly the developments in Yemen, where they reaffirmed their condemnation of the terrorist Houthi militia’s attacks and its cowardly attempts to target civilian areas within the Kingdom.
They also discussed efforts to reduce tensions and ensure the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb, reiterating both countries’ shared commitment to supporting peace, security, and stability in the region.
