أعلنت وزارة الداخلية، ضبط 1,500 شخص أثناء محاولتهم التسلل عبر الحدود إلى داخل المملكة خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 26 من ذي القعدة 1447هـ، وشكّل اليمنيون 38% من المضبوطين، والإثيوبيون 60%، إضافة إلى جنسيات أخرى بنسبة 2%.
وأوضحت الوزارة، أن الحملات الميدانية المشتركة لمتابعة مخالفي أنظمة الإقامة والعمل وأمن الحدود في مختلف مناطق المملكة أسفرت عن ضبط 9,576 مخالفاً، منهم 4,865 مخالفاً لنظام الإقامة، و3,319 لنظام أمن الحدود، و1,392 لنظام العمل. كما تم ضبط 58 شخصاً لمحاولتهم مغادرة المملكة بطريقة غير نظامية، إضافة إلى 12 متورطاً في نقل وإيواء وتشغيل المخالفين والتستر عليهم.
وبيّنت الوزارة، أن إجمالي المخالفين الخاضعين حالياً لإجراءات تنفيذ الأنظمة بلغ 26,632 وافداً، منهم 25,059 رجلاً و1,573 امرأة، وجرى إحالة 17,766 مخالفاً لبعثاتهم الدبلوماسية لاستكمال وثائق السفر، وإحالة 2,311 مخالفاً لإتمام حجوزاتهم، فيما تم ترحيل 11,226 مخالفاً. وأكدت وزارة الداخلية، أن كل من يسهّل دخول مخالفي نظام أمن الحدود أو نقلهم أو إيواءهم أو تقديم أي مساعدة لهم يعرض نفسه لعقوبات تصل إلى السجن 15 سنة وغرامة تصل إلى مليون ريال، مع مصادرة وسائل النقل والسكن المستخدم في الإيواء، إضافة إلى التشهير به، مشددة على أن هذه الجريمة تُعد من الجرائم الكبيرة الموجبة للتوقيف والمخلة بالشرف والأمانة، داعية إلى الإبلاغ عن أي حالات مخالفة.
The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 1,500 individuals while attempting to illegally cross the borders into the Kingdom during the period from the 20th to the 26th of Dhul-Qi’dah 1447 AH, with Yemenis constituting 38% of those arrested, Ethiopians 60%, and other nationalities making up 2%.
The ministry clarified that the joint field campaigns to monitor violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations in various regions of the Kingdom resulted in the arrest of 9,576 violators, including 4,865 for violating residency laws, 3,319 for violating border security laws, and 1,392 for violating labor laws. Additionally, 58 individuals were arrested for attempting to leave the Kingdom illegally, along with 12 individuals involved in transporting, sheltering, and employing violators and concealing them.
The ministry indicated that the total number of violators currently undergoing enforcement procedures has reached 26,632 expatriates, including 25,059 men and 1,573 women. A total of 17,766 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to complete travel documents, and 2,311 violators were referred to finalize their bookings, while 11,226 violators were deported. The Ministry of Interior emphasized that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators, transports them, shelters them, or provides any assistance to them exposes themselves to penalties of up to 15 years in prison and fines of up to one million riyals, along with the confiscation of the means of transport and housing used for sheltering, in addition to publicizing their names. The ministry stressed that this crime is considered a major offense warranting detention and is a violation of honor and trust, urging the public to report any violations.
