أعلن عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني العميد طارق محمد عبدالله صالح اليوم (الخميس) وضع حجر الأساس لعدد من المشاريع الذي تمولها المملكة العربية السعودية عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في مديريتي المخا والوازعية بالساحل الغربي لليمن (غرب محافظة تعز).
وكتب طارق صالح على حسابه في «إكس»: «بدعم من المملكة العربية السعودية وبمتابعة وزير الدفاع السعودي الأمير خالد بن سلمان، وتجسيداً للدور الأخوي للمملكة في اليمن، اعتمد البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن تمويل حزمة من المشاريع التنموية الإستراتيجية للساحل الغربي».
وقال صالح: «رافقت قائد القاعدة العملياتية العميد سعد القحطاني ومحافظ تعز نبيل شمسان اليوم ووضعنا حجر أساس بعض المشاريع واستكمال مشاريع أخرى كالأرصفة البحرية ومشاريع الطرق وإنشاء المستشفى السعودي بالوازعية واستمرار تشغيل المجمعات التربوية».
وبحسب المعلومات، فإن المشاريع تشمل أيضاً استكمال الأرصفة البحرية في جزيرتَي حنيش الكبرى وزُقر، ومشروع طريق النصر (المرحلة الأولى) جبل النار- السقيا، وطريق المخا- الهاملي (موزع).
وتواصل السعودية دعم التنمية في اليمن عبر عدد من المشاريع التي ينفذها البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، وحظي الربع الأول من العام الحالي حركة تنموية غير عادية، حيث اعتمدت السعودية حزمة مشاريع تنموية بلغت تكلفتها 1.9 مليار ريال سعودي، وضمّت 28 مشروعًا ومبادرة نوعية، موزعة على قطاعات تمسّ جوهر الحياة اليومية: الكهرباء، والنقل، والصحة، والتعليم، والمياه ومختلف القطاعات الحيوية، للمساهمة في الارتقاء بمستوى الحياة اليومية في مختلف المحافظات اليمنية، إضافة إلى 268 مشروعًا ومبادرة تنموية نفذها البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن منذ 2018.
ووقع البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وأعمار اليمن (الإثنين) اتفاقية المرحلة الثانية من مشروع «المسكن الملائم» مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية.
The member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, announced today (Thursday) the laying of the foundation stone for several projects funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in the districts of Al-Mokha and Al-Wazi’ah on the western coast of Yemen (west of Taiz Governorate).
Tariq Saleh wrote on his account on “X”: “With the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and under the supervision of the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, and embodying the brotherly role of the Kingdom in Yemen, the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has approved the funding of a package of strategic development projects for the western coast.”
Saleh stated: “Today, I accompanied the commander of the operational base, Brigadier General Saad Al-Qahtani, and the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, and we laid the foundation stone for some projects and completed other projects such as the marine docks, road projects, the establishment of the Saudi hospital in Al-Wazi’ah, and the continued operation of educational complexes.”
According to the information, the projects also include the completion of marine docks in the islands of Greater Hanish and Zuqar, the Victory Road project (Phase One) from Jabal Al-Nar to Al-Suqiya, and the Al-Mokha to Al-Hamali road (Mawza).
Saudi Arabia continues to support development in Yemen through a number of projects implemented by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, with the first quarter of this year witnessing an extraordinary development movement, as Saudi Arabia approved a package of development projects costing 1.9 billion Saudi riyals, which included 28 projects and qualitative initiatives distributed across sectors that touch the core of daily life: electricity, transportation, health, education, water, and various vital sectors, to contribute to improving the quality of daily life in various Yemeni governorates, in addition to 268 development projects and initiatives implemented by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen since 2018.
The Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen signed (on Monday) an agreement for the second phase of the “Adequate Housing” project with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.
