أؤمن أن الموهبة هي الشرارة الأولى للتميّز، لكنها لا تكفي وحدها لصناعة النجاح. فالموهبة تحتاج إلى بيئة تعليمية حاضنة، وإلى تطوير مستمر يحوّل القدرات الفطرية إلى مهارات راسخة وخبرات مؤثرة. ومن خلال تجربتي المهنية والأكاديمية، أدركت أن التعليم ليس مرحلة زمنية تنتهي بالحصول على شهادة، بل رحلة مستمرة ترافق الإنسان طوال حياته وتمنحه القدرة على التجدّد ومواكبة التغيّرات.
منذ سنواتي الأولى، وجدت نفسي شغوفاً بالكتابة والتعبير عن الأفكار. كانت الكلمة نافذتي لفهم العالم والتواصل معه، ومع مرور الوقت تحوّلت هذه الموهبة إلى مسار مهني قادني إلى العمل في الصحافة والإعلام. وخلال أكثر من عقدين من الزمن، تنقّلت بين الصحافة الورقية والإعلام الرقمي والتقديم التلفزيوني وإنتاج المحتوى، وهي تجارب منحتني فرصة فريدة لفهم طبيعة التأثير الذي يمكن أن يصنعه الإعلام في حياة الأفراد والمجتمعات.
لكن ما تعلمته خلال هذه الرحلة هو أن الممارسة وحدها لا تكفي. فكل تجربة مهنية كانت تدفعني للبحث عن معرفة أعمق، وكل نجاح كنت أحقّقه كان يفتح أمامي أسئلة جديدة تحتاج إلى دراسة وفهم. لذلك حرصت على الجمع بين الخبرة العملية والدراسة الأكاديمية، لأنني أؤمن أن التكامل بينهما هو ما يصنع الاحتراف الحقيقي. فالممارسة تمنح الإنسان الخبرة الواقعية، بينما يوفر التعليم الأدوات العلمية والمنهجية التي تساعده على تطوير تلك الخبرة وتوسيع آفاقها.
لقد أسهمت دراستي الأكاديمية في تعزيز فهمي للإعلام وتحوّلاته، كما منحتني فرصة للاطلاع على تجارب ومدارس فكرية مختلفة. وكانت تجربتي التعليمية في المملكة المتحدة محطة مهمة أثرت رؤيتي المهنية والشخصية، حيث أتاحت لي التعرف على ثقافات متنوعة وأساليب جديدة في التفكير والإبداع. وقد انعكس ذلك بشكل مباشر على عملي الإعلامي وعلى قدرتي على التعامل مع مختلف أشكال المحتوى وصناعته.
ومن خلال هذه التجربة، أصبحت أكثر اقتناعاً بأهمية دعم الموهوبين داخل المؤسسات التعليمية. فالتعليم لا ينبغي أن يقتصر على نقل المعرفة، بل يجب أن يكون منصة لاكتشاف المواهب وتنميتها وتوجيهها نحو مسارات تحقّق أثراً حقيقياً في المجتمع. فعندما تلتقي الموهبة بالتعليم، يصبح الإبداع أكثر نضجاً، وتصبح فرص النجاح أكبر وأكثر استدامة.
إن العالم اليوم يتغيّر بوتيرة متسارعة، وما كان كافياً بالأمس قد لا يكون كافياً غداً. لذلك أرى أن أهم استثمار يمكن أن يقوم به الإنسان هو الاستثمار في تعلمه المستمر. فالتعلم هو سبيل التجدّد، وهو الوسيلة التي تمكّننا من تطوير أنفسنا ومواجهة التحديات وصناعة فرص جديدة. ومهما بلغت خبرة الإنسان أو حقّق من إنجازات، فإن قدرته على الاستمرار في التعلم تظل العامل الأهم في الحفاظ على نجاحه وتوسيع أثره. فالتعليم ليس نهاية الطريق، بل هو الطريق ذاته نحو التطور والتميّز والنجاح.
I believe that talent is the first spark of excellence, but it is not enough on its own to create success. Talent needs a nurturing educational environment and continuous development that transforms innate abilities into solid skills and impactful experiences. Through my professional and academic experience, I have realized that education is not a time-bound phase that ends with obtaining a degree, but a continuous journey that accompanies a person throughout their life, granting them the ability to renew themselves and keep pace with changes.
From my early years, I found myself passionate about writing and expressing ideas. Words were my window to understanding the world and communicating with it, and over time, this talent evolved into a professional path that led me to work in journalism and media. Over more than two decades, I have moved between print journalism, digital media, television presenting, and content production, experiences that have given me a unique opportunity to understand the nature of the impact that media can have on the lives of individuals and communities.
However, what I learned during this journey is that practice alone is not enough. Every professional experience pushed me to seek deeper knowledge, and every success I achieved opened up new questions that needed study and understanding. Therefore, I made sure to combine practical experience with academic study, as I believe that the integration of both is what creates true professionalism. Practice provides real-world experience, while education offers the scientific and methodological tools that help develop that experience and expand its horizons.
My academic studies have contributed to enhancing my understanding of media and its transformations, as well as providing me with the opportunity to learn about different experiences and intellectual schools. My educational experience in the United Kingdom was an important milestone that influenced my professional and personal vision, as it allowed me to get to know diverse cultures and new methods of thinking and creativity. This directly reflected on my media work and my ability to handle and produce various forms of content.
Through this experience, I became more convinced of the importance of supporting talented individuals within educational institutions. Education should not be limited to transferring knowledge; it must be a platform for discovering, nurturing, and directing talents towards paths that achieve a real impact in society. When talent meets education, creativity matures, and opportunities for success become greater and more sustainable.
Today, the world is changing at a rapid pace, and what was sufficient yesterday may not be enough tomorrow. Therefore, I see that the most important investment a person can make is in their continuous learning. Learning is the path to renewal, and it is the means that enables us to develop ourselves, face challenges, and create new opportunities. No matter how experienced a person is or what achievements they have accomplished, their ability to continue learning remains the most important factor in maintaining their success and expanding their impact. Education is not the end of the road; it is the very road towards development, excellence, and success.
