لقي جندي في الأمن السوري مقتله وأصيب ثلاثة آخرون اليوم (الإثنين)، في هجوم انتحاري نفذه تنظيم «داعش» الإرهابي في مدينة الرقة شمال شرقي البلاد.
وصرّحت وزارة الداخلية السورية بأن قوى الأمن الداخلي أحبطت هجوماً إرهابياً نفذه عنصران من تنظيم «داعش» استهدف أحد مقار قيادة الأمن الداخلي في مدينة الرقة، موضحة أن العناصر الأمنية تصدت للهجوم، واشتبكت مع المهاجمين الانتحاريين، وتمكنت من تحييد أحدهما، بينما قام الآخر بتفجير نفسه بواسطة سترة ناسفة بعد محاصرته.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن التفجير أسفر عن مقتل أحد عناصر قوى الأمن الداخلي وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين، ونُقل المصابون إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج، مبينة أن الهجوم تم احتواؤه وإحباط أهدافه، فيما تواصل الأجهزة المختصة متابعة التحقيقات والإجراءات الأمنية المرتبطة بالحادث.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام سورية أن هجوماً استهدف حاجزاً تابعاً لقوى الأمن الداخلي بقذائف آر بي جي، قرب دوار جب الفرج في ناحية الشيوخ بمحيط مدينة عين العرب (كوباني) شرق ريف حلب.
وشهدت مناطق شمال وشرق سورية خلال الأشهر الماضية عدة هجمات استهدفت عناصر وحواجز تابعة لقوى الأمن الداخلي والجيش السوري، وتبنى تنظيم «داعش» عدداً منها، لا سيما في محافظتي الرقة ودير الزور.
A soldier in the Syrian security forces was killed and three others were injured today (Monday) in a suicide attack carried out by the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the city of Raqqa, northeastern Syria.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that internal security forces thwarted a terrorist attack carried out by two members of “ISIS” targeting one of the internal security command centers in the city of Raqqa, explaining that the security personnel responded to the attack and engaged with the suicide attackers, managing to neutralize one of them, while the other detonated himself using an explosive vest after being cornered.
The ministry indicated that the explosion resulted in the death of one member of the internal security forces and injured three others, who were transferred to hospitals for treatment, noting that the attack was contained and its objectives thwarted, while the relevant authorities continue to follow up on investigations and security measures related to the incident.
Syrian media reported that an attack targeted an internal security forces checkpoint with RPG shells near the Al-Jab al-Faraj roundabout in the Al-Shuyukh area surrounding the city of Ain al-Arab (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo countryside.
In recent months, areas in northern and eastern Syria have witnessed several attacks targeting members and checkpoints of the internal security forces and the Syrian army, with “ISIS” claiming responsibility for several of them, particularly in the Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor governorates.
