في أمسية امتزجت فيها ملامح الفن بروح الوفاء الوطني، احتفت الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون بجدة بإعلان الفائزين في جائزة ضياء عزيز ضياء للبورتريه في نسختها التاسعة، التي جاءت هذا العام تحت عنوان «الملك سلمان.. الإنسان والإنجاز»، وسط حضور ثقافي وفني وإعلامي كبير، جسّد المكانة التي باتت تحتلها الجائزة في المشهد التشكيلي السعودي، وقدرة الفن على توثيق سيرة القادة واستحضار قيمهم ومنجزاتهم بلغة اللون والجمال.
وشهدت الجائزة إقبالاً واسعاً من الفنانين والفنانات من مختلف مناطق المملكة، إذ استقبلت 787 مشاركة فنية مثّلت 42 مدينة ومحافظة، تأهل منها 61 عملاً إلى المرحلة النهائية، في مؤشر يعكس اتساع حضور الجائزة وتنامي أثرها بين المبدعين والمهتمين بالفنون البصرية.
وتواصل جائزة ضياء عزيز ضياء للبورتريه مسيرتها بوصفها الجائزة المتخصصة في فن البورتريه على مستوى الشرق الأوسط، إذ نجحت على مدى تسع نسخ في استقطاب 3925 مشاركة فنية، وأسهمت في إبراز العديد من التجارب الإبداعية الشابة والمحترفة، لترسخ مكانتها منصة ثقافية وفنية تحتفي بالإنسان والهوية والجمال.
وفي كلمة حملت الكثير من الشغف بالصورة والذاكرة الوطنية، استعرض الأمير فيصل بن عبدالله بن محمد آل سعود مجموعة من أعماله الفوتوغرافية التي وثّق من خلالها محطات مختلفة من مسيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، كاشفاً ما تختزنه تلك الصور من دلالات إنسانية ووطنية وتاريخية تجسد ملامح قائد ومسيرة وطن، كما جدد الأمير فيصل بن عبدالله التزام «ليان الثقافية» بمواصلة دعم الجائزة، مؤكداً أنها تجاوزت كونها منافسة فنية لتغدو منجزاً ثقافياً راسخاً ومنصة وطنية تحتفي بالإبداع وتسهم في تمكين الفنانين وترسيخ حضور الفنون البصرية في المملكة.
ورحب رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون عبدالعزيز السماعيل بالحضور، مؤكداً أن الجائزة أصبحت أحد المشاريع الثقافية والفنية الرائدة التي أسهمت في دعم فن البورتريه وتعزيز حضوره في المشهد التشكيلي السعودي، مستعرضاً أبرز المنجزات التي حققتها منذ انطلاقتها.
من جانبه، عبّر الفنان ضياء عزيز ضياء عن سعادته بما بلغته الجائزة من حضور وتأثير، مشيراً إلى أن المستوى الفني للأعمال المشاركة هذا العام يعكس التطور المتسارع الذي يشهده الفن التشكيلي السعودي، وما يمتلكه الفنانون السعوديون من قدرات إبداعية وتجارب نوعية تستحق الاحتفاء.
وأعرب رئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا الدكتور عبدالله دحلان عن اعتزاز الجامعة باستضافة الجائزة، ودعمها للمبادرات الثقافية والفنية التي تسهم في بناء الإنسان وتنمية الإبداع، وتعزز جسور التعاون بين المؤسسات الثقافية والأكاديمية.
وتخللت الأمسية قصيدة وطنية للشاعر جاسر الأحمدي، فيما قدّم الموسيقار الدكتور مدني عبادي فقرة موسيقية على آلة القانون، عزف خلالها معزوفة وطنية لاقت استحسان الحضور وتفاعلهم.
وفي ختام الحفل أُعلنت أسماء الفائزين بجائزة ضياء عزيز ضياء للبورتريه في نسختها التاسعة، وفازت الفنانة إيمان منصور اللويمي بالمركز الأول، وجاء الفنان فائع الألمعي في المركز الثاني، فيما حلت الفنانة غيداء عبدالله الدهري في المركز الثالث.
وفاز بالمراكز من الرابع إلى العاشر كل من؛ سعيد الشهراني، وفهد خليف، وعبداللطيف الكرماني، وماجد المقرن، ومها العسكر، ومنال البخاري، ومحمد صالح.
وعقب إعلان النتائج جرى تكريم الفائزين والداعمين وشركاء النجاح ولجنة التحكيم والجهات المساندة، وسط إشادة واسعة بالمستوى الفني للأعمال المشاركة، وما حملته من رؤى بصرية جسدت موضوع الجائزة «الملك سلمان.. الإنسان والإنجاز»، واستحضرت جوانب من سيرة قائد ارتبط اسمه بمسيرة التنمية والبناء والإنسان.
وأعرب مدير الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون بجدة المشرف العام على اللجنة المنظمة للجائزة محمد بن إبراهيم آل صبيح، عن اعتزازه بما حققته الجائزة من أثر في إثراء الحركة التشكيلية السعودية ودعم الفنانين، مؤكداً أن النسخة التاسعة نجحت في ترجمة مشاعر الاعتزاز بقائد الوطن إلى أعمال فنية وإنسانية حملت رسائلها إلى المتلقي عبر قوة الصورة وصدق التعبير وجمال الإبداع.

On an evening where the features of art blended with the spirit of national loyalty, the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah celebrated the announcement of the winners of the Diaa Aziz Diaa Portrait Prize in its ninth edition, which this year was themed “King Salman… The Man and His Achievements.” This event was marked by a significant cultural, artistic, and media presence, reflecting the status that the prize has come to occupy in the Saudi visual arts scene, as well as the ability of art to document the legacies of leaders and evoke their values and achievements through the language of color and beauty.
The prize witnessed wide participation from artists across various regions of the Kingdom, receiving 787 artistic submissions representing 42 cities and provinces, of which 61 works qualified for the final stage, indicating the expanding presence of the prize and its growing impact among creators and those interested in visual arts.
The Diaa Aziz Diaa Portrait Prize continues its journey as the specialized award in portrait art at the level of the Middle East, having successfully attracted 3,925 artistic submissions over nine editions. It has contributed to highlighting many young and professional creative experiences, establishing its position as a cultural and artistic platform that celebrates humanity, identity, and beauty.
In a speech filled with passion for imagery and national memory, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Saud showcased a collection of his photographic works that documented various milestones in the journey of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, revealing the human, national, and historical significance embedded in those images that embody the features of a leader and the journey of a nation. Prince Faisal bin Abdullah also renewed the commitment of “Layan Cultural” to continue supporting the prize, affirming that it has transcended being merely an artistic competition to become a solid cultural achievement and a national platform that celebrates creativity and contributes to empowering artists and solidifying the presence of visual arts in the Kingdom.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts, Abdulaziz Al-Sama’il, welcomed the attendees, confirming that the prize has become one of the leading cultural and artistic projects that has contributed to supporting portrait art and enhancing its presence in the Saudi visual arts scene, while reviewing the most significant achievements it has accomplished since its inception.
For his part, artist Diaa Aziz Diaa expressed his happiness with the prize’s presence and impact, noting that the artistic level of the works submitted this year reflects the rapid development witnessed in Saudi visual art, as well as the creative capabilities and qualitative experiences that Saudi artists possess, which deserve celebration.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Business and Technology, Dr. Abdullah Duhailan, expressed the university’s pride in hosting the prize and its support for cultural and artistic initiatives that contribute to human development and creativity, enhancing bridges of cooperation between cultural and academic institutions.
The evening featured a patriotic poem by poet Jaser Al-Ahmadi, while musician Dr. Madani Abadi presented a musical segment on the qanun, during which he played a national piece that was well-received by the audience and elicited their interaction.
At the end of the ceremony, the names of the winners of the Diaa Aziz Diaa Portrait Prize in its ninth edition were announced, with artist Iman Mansour Al-Luwimi winning first place, followed by artist Faiyad Al-Almai in second place, and artist Ghida Abdullah Al-Dahri in third place.
The winners from fourth to tenth places included; Saeed Al-Shahrani, Fahd Khalif, Abdul Latif Al-Kurmany, Majed Al-Muqrin, Maha Al-Askar, Manal Al-Bukhari, and Muhammad Saleh.
Following the announcement of the results, the winners, supporters, partners in success, the judging committee, and supporting entities were honored, amidst widespread praise for the artistic level of the submitted works and the visual visions they carried that embodied the theme of the prize “King Salman… The Man and His Achievements,” evoking aspects of the legacy of a leader whose name is associated with the journey of development, construction, and humanity.
The Director of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah and the General Supervisor of the organizing committee for the prize, Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sabih, expressed his pride in the impact the prize has had in enriching the Saudi visual arts movement and supporting artists, affirming that the ninth edition succeeded in translating feelings of pride in the nation’s leader into artistic and human works that conveyed their messages to the audience through the power of imagery, sincerity of expression, and beauty of creativity.
Attending the ceremony were Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Saud, Prince Salman bin Faisal, Princess Haifa bint Abdul Mohsen, Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja, Dr. Saeed Al-Arabi Al-Harithi, Dr. Suhail Qadi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Business and Technology, Dr. Abdullah Duhailan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts, Abdulaziz Al-Sama’il, the General Director of the Society, Khalid Al-Baz, along with a group of artists, intellectuals, media professionals, and those interested in cultural and artistic affairs.
