تصدرت الحرب في أوكرانيا والاتفاق الأمريكي مع إيران جدول أعمال قمة مجموعة السبع، التي انطلقت، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، في مدينة إيفيان الفرنسية، حيث يستعد القادة لإجراء محادثات مع الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي. وأشار الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إلى إمكانية التوصل إلى تسوية للنزاع المستمر منذ أكثر من 4 سنوات.
بحث تطورات الملف الأوكراني
يشارك زيلينسكي في جلسة صباحية خاصة ضمن أعمال القمة، مخصصة لبحث تطورات الملف الأوكراني، في ظل مساعٍ دولية متسارعة لاحتواء الحرب ودفع المسار السياسي نحو تسوية نهائية. ويسعى القادة الأوروبيون، الذين يستضيفهم الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، لإقناع ترمب بالضغط على موسكو لقبول سلام يراعي شروط كييف، وضمان عدم اضطرار الأخيرة لتقديم تنازلات للجانب الروسي. ودعا زيلينسكي، أمس الأول (الإثنين)، قادة المجموعة لاتخاذ رد «حاسم وملموس» على الضربات الروسية الأخيرة. وأوضح أنه اقترح عقد لقاء مع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين على هامش القمة، إلا أن موسكو أبدت عدم استعدادها لذلك.
مكالمتان لترمب مع بوتين وزيلينسكي
أشار ترمب إلى مكالمتين هاتفيتين أجراهما مع زيلينسكي وبوتين، معتبراً أن «كليهما منفتح، وربما يمكننا فعل شيء»، دون تقديم تفاصيل إضافية. ونوه بدور قطر ووساطتها لحل الأزمة في المنطقة، واصفاً الاتفاق مع إيران بـ«العادل والجيد». وأضاف في كلمته أمام القمة أن المهم هو ألا تمتلك إيران سلاحاً نووياً. وأكد ضرورة أن يتصرف رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بمسؤولية تجاه لبنان. فيما وصف أمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني الاتفاق بين طهران وواشنطن بأنه «مهم جداً»، مؤكداً استعداد بلاده لتقديم المساعدة.
حزمة عقوبات جديدة ضد روسيا
أعلن رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر أن بلاده ستزوّد أوكرانيا باليورانيوم المخصب لتشغيل منشآتها النووية، وأعلن حزمة عقوبات جديدة ضد روسيا. ومن المقرر أن تلي الجلسة الأوكرانية جلسة خاصة حول إيران، بحضور الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، وأمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، والرئيس الإماراتي محمد بن زايد آل نهيان. ويسعى حلفاء واشنطن إلى استيضاح موقف ترمب بشأن الاتفاق مع إيران لإنهاء الحرب في الشرق الأوسط. وأبدى ترمب تحفظاً تجاه المقترح البريطاني الفرنسي بإطلاق مهمة عسكرية لضمان حرية الملاحة في المضيق.
مساعٍ فرنسية لتوسيع نطاق المجموعة
تتواصل أعمال القمة على مدى 3 أيام بمشاركة عدد من قادة العالم، في إطار مساعٍ فرنسية لتوسيع نطاق مجموعة السبع ليشمل قوى دولية أخرى. ويشارك في القمة قادة مثل الرئيس البرازيلي لويس إيناسيو لولا دا سيلفا، ورئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن مجموعة الدول السبع (G-7) ليست منظمة دولية، بل منتدى غير رسمي نشأ عام 1975، ويضم الدول الصناعية الرائدة في العالم، وهي الولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة وفرنسا وألمانيا وإيطاليا وكندا واليابان.

U.S. President Donald Trump indicated the possibility of reaching a settlement to the conflict that has been ongoing for more than 4 years.
Discussion on Developments in the Ukrainian File
Zelensky is participating in a special morning session as part of the summit’s proceedings, dedicated to discussing developments in the Ukrainian file, amid accelerating international efforts to contain the war and push the political process towards a final settlement. European leaders, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, are seeking to persuade Trump to pressure Moscow to accept a peace that considers Kyiv’s conditions, ensuring that the latter does not have to make concessions to the Russian side. Zelensky called on the group’s leaders, the day before yesterday (Monday), to take a “decisive and tangible” response to the recent Russian strikes. He clarified that he proposed holding a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit, but Moscow showed no willingness for that.
Two Calls for Trump with Putin and Zelensky
Trump mentioned two phone calls he made with Zelensky and Putin, considering that “both are open, and perhaps we can do something,” without providing further details. He noted Qatar’s role and its mediation to resolve the crisis in the region, describing the agreement with Iran as “fair and good.” He added in his speech at the summit that the important thing is that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons. He emphasized the need for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to act responsibly towards Lebanon. Meanwhile, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, described the agreement between Tehran and Washington as “very important,” affirming his country’s readiness to provide assistance.
New Sanctions Package Against Russia
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that his country would supply Ukraine with enriched uranium to operate its nuclear facilities and announced a new package of sanctions against Russia. Following the Ukrainian session, there is scheduled to be a special session on Iran, attended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Washington’s allies are seeking to clarify Trump’s position regarding the agreement with Iran to end the war in the Middle East. Trump expressed reservations about the British-French proposal to launch a military mission to ensure freedom of navigation in the strait.
French Efforts to Expand the Group’s Scope
The summit proceedings will continue for 3 days with the participation of several world leaders, as part of French efforts to expand the G7’s scope to include other international powers. Leaders such as Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are participating in the summit.
It is worth noting that the Group of Seven (G-7) is not an international organization, but rather an informal forum that was established in 1975, comprising the leading industrialized countries in the world, namely the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, and Japan.
