عندما قال المتحدث الرسمي لتحالف دعم الشرعية اليمنية، إن ميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية تمكنت من الحصول على تقنيات متقدمة بمساعدة أطراف إقليمية فليست هناك حاجة لتسمية إيران بوصفها الداعم الأساسي الأكبر لهذه الميليشيا والأب الروحي لها، لكنها بدلاً من الصمت – على الأقل – خلال التصعيد الحوثي الأخير فإنها تتصرف باستخفاف كبير وبجاحة متناهية عندما يصرح المتحدث باسم وزارة خارجيتها قائلاً: «إن إيران ترفض أي ادعاء بأنها لعبت دوراً في العمليات اليمنية، وتؤكد أن حل القضية اليمنية يتطلب احترام السيادة الوطنية والسلامة الإقليمية لهذا البلد، ووقف أي تدخل في شؤونه الداخلية، وأنها مستعدة للمساعدة في حل القضايا بين السعودية والحوثيين سلمياً»، ثم يشير إلى أن إيران عرضت وساطتها بين الطرفين وتنتظر الرد من المملكة.
هكذا، وبهذه الفجاجة الشديدة، تريد إيران مغالطة الواقع بتسويق سردية كاذبة لا يمكن لأحد في هذا العالم تصديقها، كمحاولة لإنقاذ ورقتها الحوثية التي بدأت تحترق بتسارع كبير بعد بدء عملية فجر اليمن. تخيلوا، أن إيران تنفي أي ادعاء بلعب دور في الأزمة اليمنية، وهي التي تبنّت وجهزت ودربت وموّلت الميليشيا الحوثية منذ نشأتها على يديها إلى الآن. بهذه البساطة تريد إيران إنكار ضلوعها في وصول اليمن إلى ما وصل إليه، وأن أعداداً كبيرة من حرسها الثوري تدير معركة الحوثي ضد الشعب اليمني وشرعيته، وتشرف على تصدير الاعتداءات الإرهابية على المملكة، وتهديد أمن الملاحة الدولية في باب المندب. نعم إنها إيران التي تتحدث الآن عن «السيادة الوطنية والسلامة الإقليمية لليمن، ووقف أي تدخل في شؤونه الداخلية»، تقول هذا وهي التي انتهكت سيادته بفرض وصايتها عليه من خلال ذراعها الحوثية، وهي التي تدخلت في شؤونه الداخلية بشكل سافر. إيران تتحدث عن خصوصية الشؤون الداخلية للدول، وهي التي تباهت ذات وقت قريب بأنها أصبحت تسيطر على أربع عواصم عربية، فكيف تتوقع أن أحداً بوسعه تصديق ما تقوله الآن.
إيران تحاول، بخبث من خلال محاولتها الآن تسويق ورقة التوسط بين المملكة والحوثيين، تصوير المملكة على أنها طرف النزاع الأساسي معهم بالقفز على حقيقة أن المشكلة يمنية – يمنية، بين ميليشيا انقلابية وحكومة شرعية استنجدت بالمملكة، التي كوّنت تحالفاً عسكرياً لدعمها اكتسب الغطاء القانوني الدولي، وأصبحت تدفع ثمن موقفها الإنساني مع الشعب اليمني وحكومته بمواجهة اعتداءات على أمن وسلامة مواطنيها ومرافقها الحيوية.
إذا كانت إيران راغبة فعلاً في حل القضية اليمنية سلمياً، كما تدّعي، فلماذا لم تخاطب الحكومة الشرعية بصفتها الطرف الثاني في الأزمة اليمنية وليست المملكة. هي لم تفعل ذلك لأنها لا تعترف بها، وتريد إنتاج وتسويق مفهوم غير حقيقي بأن الأزمة حوثية – سعودية، وبالطبع لن تنطلي هذه المغالطة على أحد.
ببساطة متناهية، إذا كانت إيران تريد حل الأزمة اليمنية، كما تزعم، فعليها رفع يدها عن اليمن وعدم التدخل في شؤونه. عليها أن تتوقف عن دعم الميليشيا الحوثية ضد حكومة شرعية معترف بها دولياً، وما عدا ذلك فلن يصدقها أحد.
When the official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen stated that the terrorist Houthi militia had managed to acquire advanced technologies with the help of regional parties, there was no need to name Iran as the primary supporter and spiritual father of this militia. Instead of remaining silent—at least during the recent Houthi escalation—it is acting with great disdain and extreme audacity when the spokesperson for its Foreign Ministry declares: “Iran rejects any claim that it has played a role in the Yemeni operations and emphasizes that resolving the Yemeni issue requires respecting the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of this country, halting any interference in its internal affairs, and that it is ready to help resolve the issues between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis peacefully,” then he points out that Iran has offered its mediation between the two parties and is awaiting a response from the Kingdom.
Thus, with such blatant audacity, Iran seeks to distort reality by promoting a false narrative that no one in this world can believe, as an attempt to save its Houthi card, which has begun to burn rapidly since the launch of Operation Dawn of Yemen. Imagine, Iran denies any claim of playing a role in the Yemeni crisis, while it has adopted, equipped, trained, and funded the Houthi militia since its inception until now. So easily, Iran wants to deny its involvement in bringing Yemen to its current state, and that large numbers of its Revolutionary Guards are managing the Houthi battle against the Yemeni people and their legitimacy, overseeing the export of terrorist attacks on the Kingdom, and threatening the security of international navigation in Bab al-Mandab. Yes, it is Iran that is now talking about “national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Yemen, and halting any interference in its internal affairs,” saying this while it has violated its sovereignty by imposing its guardianship through its Houthi arm, and it has intervened in its internal affairs in a blatant manner. Iran speaks of the specificity of the internal affairs of states, while it recently boasted that it has come to control four Arab capitals. How can it expect anyone to believe what it is saying now?
Iran is cunningly attempting to market its mediation card between the Kingdom and the Houthis, portraying the Kingdom as the main party in the conflict with them, while jumping over the fact that the problem is Yemeni-Yemeni, between a coup militia and a legitimate government that sought help from the Kingdom, which formed a military coalition to support it that gained international legal cover, and has begun to pay the price for its humanitarian stance with the Yemeni people and their government in the face of attacks on the security and safety of its citizens and vital facilities.
If Iran is truly willing to resolve the Yemeni issue peacefully, as it claims, why has it not addressed the legitimate government as the second party in the Yemeni crisis instead of the Kingdom? It has not done so because it does not recognize it and wants to produce and market an untrue concept that the crisis is Houthi-Saudi, and of course, this fallacy will not deceive anyone.
Simply put, if Iran wants to resolve the Yemeni crisis, as it claims, it must lift its hand from Yemen and refrain from interfering in its affairs. It must stop supporting the Houthi militia against an internationally recognized legitimate government, and aside from that, no one will believe it.
