بعد أشهر من الرسائل غير المباشرة والتلميحات المتبادلة، تبادل الفنانان محمد رمضان وأحمد العوضي رسائل ودية حملت في طياتها روح المنافسة، في خطوة اعتبرها كثير من المتابعين إنهاءً لحالة الجدل التي رافقت استعداداتهما لموسم دراما رمضان 2027.
وبدأت المبادرة من محمد رمضان، الذي وجّه رسالة عبر حسابه على (فيسبوك) أشاد فيها بالعوضي وعلاقته بالجمهور البسيط، مؤكداً تقديره لاعتزازه بجذوره وانتمائه الشعبي. وقال رمضان مخاطباً العوضي: «أنت صحيح أكبر مني سناً، لكني حصلت على فرصة البطولة قبلك، يعني بالعمر أنت أخويا الكبير، وبالبطولات أنا أخوك الكبير»، متمنياً له التوفيق والنجاح في عمله الدرامي الجديد. كما دعا رمضان زميله إلى مشاهدة إحدى حلقات مسلسلهما معاً خلال موسم رمضان 2027، في إشارة إلى رغبته في تحويل المنافسة الفنية إلى حالة من الود والتقدير المتبادل.
ولم يتأخر رد العوضي، إذ نشر رسالة عبر حسابه أكد فيها أن العلاقة بينهما تقوم على المحبة والاحترام، قائلًا: «إحنا أخوات وحبايب، ومفيش حد كبير على التاني». وأضاف العوضي أن رمضان «كبير في غلاوته»، مشيراً في الوقت ذاته إلى أن الجمهور البسيط كان سبباً رئيسياً في نجاحهما، وموجهاً الشكر لرمضان على حديثه الإيجابي عن هذه الشريحة من الجمهور.
وأكد العوضي أن ما جرى من منشورات متبادلة خلال الفترة الماضية كان يهدف إلى إشعال روح المنافسة الشريفة بينهما بما يصب في مصلحة المشاهدين، معرباً عن سعادته بعودة رمضان إلى السباق الدرامي بعد غياب استمر ثلاث سنوات. كما وجه دعوة مضادة لرمضان لمشاهدة الحلقة الأولى من مسلسله الجديد (سلطان الديب) وسط أهالي منطقة عين شمس، مسقط رأسه، احتفالاً بما وصفه بنجاح «الأخ والحبيب».
وكانت المنافسة بين النجمين قد تصاعدت خلال الأسابيع الماضية عبر منشورات غامضة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي. فبينما روّج رمضان لشخصية (عشماوي) التي يقدمها في عمله الجديد، ردّ العوضي بمنشورات مرتبطة بشخصية (سلطان الديب)؛ ما فتح باب التكهنات حول وجود منافسة محتدمة بينهما قبل موسم رمضان 2027. إلا أن الرسائل الأخيرة بين الطرفين بدت وكأنها نقلت المنافسة من دائرة السجال والتأويلات إلى إطار أكثر هدوءاً، مع احتفاظ كل منهما بثقته في مشروعه الفني وقدرته على كسب الجمهور خلال الموسم المرتقب.

The initiative began with Mohamed Ramadan, who sent a message via his (Facebook) account praising El Awadi and his relationship with the simple audience, affirming his appreciation for his pride in his roots and popular affiliation. Ramadan addressed El Awadi, saying: “You are indeed older than me, but I got the chance to be the lead before you, which means in age you are my older brother, and in terms of leading roles, I am your older brother,” wishing him success and good fortune in his new dramatic work. Ramadan also invited his colleague to watch one of their episodes together during the Ramadan 2027 season, indicating his desire to turn artistic competition into a state of mutual affection and appreciation.
El Awadi did not delay in responding, as he posted a message on his account confirming that their relationship is based on love and respect, saying: “We are brothers and dear ones, and no one is greater than the other.” El Awadi added that Ramadan is “great in his value,” while also pointing out that the simple audience was a major reason for their success, thanking Ramadan for his positive remarks about this segment of the audience.
El Awadi confirmed that the exchanged posts over the past period aimed to ignite a spirit of fair competition between them that serves the interests of the viewers, expressing his happiness at Ramadan’s return to the dramatic race after a three-year absence. He also extended a counter-invitation to Ramadan to watch the first episode of his new series (Sultan El Deeb) among the residents of Ain Shams, his hometown, in celebration of what he described as the success of the “brother and dear one.”
The competition between the two stars had escalated over the past weeks through cryptic posts on social media. While Ramadan promoted the character (Ashmawy) that he portrays in his new work, El Awadi responded with posts related to the character (Sultan El Deeb); this opened the door for speculation about an intense competition between them before the Ramadan 2027 season.
